As part of our response to this period of time dictated by the challenge of Covid-19, RMDC have decided to share our Digital Archive Programme and give you an insight into the artistic processes of the company and collaborators.
Maliphant uses film throughout the rehearsal and touring process of a work to continue developing productions with dancers and collaborators. Each performance and rehearsal run is filmed and often watched back with the dancers. This process is a valuable working tool for the company to realise the aesthetic implications of any subtle changes to practice. As part of our commitment to our Digital Archive, we have decided to release 1 film a week for the next 3 months, including a selected range of R&D clips and full staged productions from our past 25 years.
