Your video worked great for me! However after a couple of minutes my connection to the carplay fails out of nowhere. So I have to reboot the system every time to get a connection again. It is pretty anoying. Can you help me?

Never underestimate the ceramic coatings on 4x4s ... I used a Gtechiq coating in horrible MEA region and it left the FJ looking like new after 6yrs and 430,000kms . Nice build video, impressive. 🙂 AND very nice to see you used the top spec Y62 for this build.

Hi i have similar setup on my Y62 but the rims are 16offset negative. Which looks better in handling and stability but i feel the axel rear and front getting stress. What do you suggest.

Cool. Bunch of uncovered terminals all over the place. Stack a bunch of terminals on top of eachother every chance you get. The cheapest jaycar XLPE heatshrink in use is a hallmark of a shit job. Battery with differing chemistries sharing same space against every single international and local requirement/recommendation. Loving the random mix of incorrect sized ring terminals all over the place. The unsealed terminals amongst it. All the supercheap auto crimps slapped in randomly. The steering lines going uphill lol. NMEA network not orientated to standard. Anchor controls right where you brace yourself to control the AP screen which is horrendously placed. Which arsehole mounted the mild steel barely ingress protected deckwash pump in the wettest part of the cabin? What’s most terrifying is that all this shit is not in any way mechanically isolated from incidental contact during service or failure. Every single positive terminal is millimeters from the hull (bonded to neg) and a major short risk. Like 30mins with some HDPE. And all of that could be done fully insulated as a failsafe. Please refund this poor bastard. And don’t touch boats again until you spend a bit of time examine some best practices, read through some modes of failure and how to engineer against them. Read a few marine fitout standards to get an eye for what’s a good idea; it’s fairly easy to ignore the irrelevant fluff of ABYC/LLOYDS/etc. This is an embarrassment you’ve butchered some guys build.

I’ve got the old 2002 7.3lt they’re bloody tough but that would be nearly one of the best setup trucks I have seen in a long time. Bloody awesome 💯

“zlink” shows up in ‘My Cars’ in the CarPlay menu, but loads endlessly when I try to connect. Do I need to disconnect from bluetooth specifically from the Android head unit? I don't have the OEM Bluetooth from the car manufacturer

Way too many bits and bobs hanging below the chassis. That truck is going to get hung up on everything bigger than an apple. You basically built this thing to be a mall crawler. Here in the states, the home of big pickup trucks, if the truck is going to be going off-road no one puts parts that low to the ground.👎

Gave it a like but my word what a nightmare if anything is to happen and need to be repaired. I can see where a simple repair could be so expensive that it would be totalled in many instances
