I am looking for a way of actually register the End date so it shows in timeline view. Having 2 duplicated date properties (start & end) doesnt work, notion doesnt understand the End property as the End date like when you manually activate End date on a page o like when you drag and drop the bar of a page in the timeline view. Asked ChatGPT but i can not find a solution, custom formulas in buttons seems to not work either. Any idea? 😢

How can I edit the icon and Heading section?? I want to also change the icon of the particular customized page.. I downloaded a template, but I don't know how to change it

Thanks so much. I tried this, but whereas your variable seems to automatically switch from type text to type block(?), for some reason my variable remains type text and I get an error saying "Formula cannot have a return type of text." Any thoughts?

Excellent video - can you use database automation's to pull in data from another record. For instance in this example the project could be linked to a client record from a client database. When you are creating a task and linking it to the project name , could you pull in other details from the project record? Such as if the client name was held. Or project type or status. My reasoning is that I would like to create time entries from the task and would like to have all the client and project information so I can see how much time is spent on a client or project over any given time period, say week or month. Hope that all makes sense

Do you know if the custom layout auto applies to every page within that database, or can you create custom layouts for different database templates? Ideally i'd love one master database of all my projects, regardless of type (trips, marketing campaigns, sales opportunities, etc.) and then depending on the type of project it will auto populate with a certain database template that has a view set for just that template since different properties are most important for those different types of projects

What about interrupting the process with a task? How do you calculate the pause between starting and stopping the process?

Yes, will definitely use it. Fantastic video and coming at the right time for me - I forgot to think about automations and was getting annoyed at my knowledge database where I didn't have a way for inheriting classifications like categories and subjects. Thanks so much for this video!

hi there. question. I have a bunch of existing notes. How can I convert the existing notes into your system? I can't seem to find a way to turn my existing note into your notes template? Best case I can do is cut and paste contents into your notes template. I also do not want t a link from your notes template to my existing page.

Thank you for this template, it is very beautiful and informative! But, unfortunately, it is inconvenient. The names of habits are too long - they should be placed not in a column, but in a row. And the dates look shorter and fit easily into the column. Even in your video you have to move the table boundaries. Whereas the names of your habits are formulated incorrectly. To make it easier for the brain, it’s better to formulate even habits more clearly: - Meditation - 5 minutes - Sports - 40 minutes - Reading the book "Gone with the Wind" - from 40 minutes. - Go to bed before 11 p.m. Otherwise everything is very beautiful! This is the only thing stopping me from using your template.
