I just lost lost my husband and I'm so lost. I just wanted u to know I was looking for something temporary bc he doesn't have a marker yet. Anyway,that video took me here...I don't talk to anybody bc well....I also lost Eric to addiction. He was my person, we just found each other, the one I never believed was real. We could have an entire conversation without ever saying a word. Our first anniversary was 2 months before... I will not find that love again. I mean, nobody will ever meet my standards after being his wife. I'm envious of what you have found....I'm happy for you. I am however...broken. I never comment on anything but I wanted u to know u are in my head... Do I say ty? Lol.. I hate that u and I are a part of this club..its awful. I'm glad u found blessings again...

I am so grateful for your videos. Seriously, I've felt hopeless lately, especially being towards the younger age. You've really validated alot of what I have been feeling and questioning. No two persons grief experience is alike, but all of us who have gone through it can provide advice and wisdom to each other. It's so tremendously helpful!

I'm sorry I know that you did this video years ago but I am a new young widow 😢 and as I look at your video I really do appreciate one of the things that you go through especially questions from people that necessarily is not trying to be mean but they just coming from a place of concern I'm fresh with losing my husband two weeks ago I lost him and I'm just going through a lot of emotions everyday when I wake up it's like very difficult for me and I always get those words and how you doing and it's like you don't want to go into details of how you doing and you don't want people to ask you how are you doing you just know like right now it's like I feel like crap and those are the things that I feel everyday like I cry everyday I'm in the process of just just screaming and I miss weeks of work thank God my manager as understand my process of they told me however much time I need I can take it you know I don't have to come to work as soon as possible it's just a lot going on and I live with my mother-in-law she's been going through of course because that's her son that passed away what is my husband and my brother-in-law as well just being here I feel like we all need each other in this time frame as we're going through grieving this really hits home for me as I lost a best friend, a lover, in a protector those words the three things my husband was to me and I just thank you for making a video for widows like I really wanted to know how another person felt losing her husband and you came across my RUclips page and I was like I have to watch her because I want to understand how other people felt and just looking at this video I know I'm not alone in this so thank you and I'm going to continue watching your videos and just get an understanding us too how to get through this and I'm just fresh going through my greeting process so I am going to soon get counseling and take it day by day so thank you

absolutely. You nailed it all. I am 6 months a widow and agree with it all. I will even admit to yelling at a couple (in my car where they couldn't hear me) "one of you will die one day! on a particularly bad day....it sounds crazy, but thats how it is. Thank you for sharing and being honest.,

Now get back in his shadow where you belong and comfort me while I cry about not being with him!".....Kept thinking it would get better, that she would see the good man I am, the one here and now...Nope, she just wanted to live in the memories of yesterday....NEVER AGAIN!!...The widowed are just too emotionally unhealthy to ever love someone else they way they deserve to be loved.

Wow what you said about not fearing death and being accepting of it and being ok if you didn’t wake up is exactly how I felt. I said to my husband today while I was talking to his urn like I always do that I wish I could be with him where he is. It’s been almost 3 months for me.

I found my husband passed 2.5 months ago after waking up in the morning. He passed away in his sleep unexpectedly. I’m 33. Everything you just described hit home for me. I’m right there with you. My husband was my world and my absolute best friend. Everything your saying I feel. Big huge hugs to you. I have a 10 month old yellow lab and 3 great cats and a house and all that. I feel you. My sister, all of 34, lost her highschool sweetheart and husband for 7.5yrs 2 weeks back "Just like that!"... 1 moment he was playing catch the next he was on ground, not breathing!! They have a sweet baby together and she is a mess. I am so scared for her! I want her to get better and make her feel alive again. And your videos here give me hope.... hope that she will take time but will get better. I hope you find love again and are happy again! Prayers and hugs!!

Im happy for you that you got that good time together.. my fiancé just passed and I wish that those were the kind of things I could remember last. But I was no match for his depression and he relapsed and it got the better of him. There’s a million things I wish I’d done differently because I couldn’t stop his suicide.

Thank you for your videos. I’ve been a widow now 2 years and 3 months. I was 42 when it happened. I had a rough day today at work. I’m the only “single “ person there and most of the woman there are younger than me and in the stage of of having kids. My coworker informed some of us today that she is expecting her second child. I gave her a hug and congratulated her and I am genuinely happy for her but I couldn’t help but feel sad because I don’t have my husband and we didn’t have kids due to complications on both our parts and we also lost one. I just feel out of place at times and like life has passed me by. He was my best friend and I can’t even begin to explain how lonely it feels at times. Lately I’ve been wonder what is my purpose for living at this point. I’d never commit suicide or anything like that just wondering what purpose I have at this point and honestly just not wanting to go on without him. Sorry for the rant. I know you know exactly how I feel. Only widows or someone who has lost someone dear to them know how it feels.
