Don’t minimise the risks of adverse reactions! This drug triggered severe erythema multiforme major for me, and Steven Johnson syndrome (which was mentioned and is similar to EM Major) requires treatment in a hospital burns unit.....both are extremely painful and miserable side effects.

This is by FAR the most informative presentation on the subject anywhere! My capitis has "spread" to my hands and I assumed it was tinea manuum but apparently it might be dermatophid reaction based on what I'm seeing here & on Google. The hands are a common site of allergic/hypersensitivity reaction. I'm an otherwise healthy adult female, not menopausal or pregnant that I know of & don't spend time around kids or at the barber. (But do spend time around feral cats). Have been on terbinafine oral for a month with no improvement that I can see. Not sure where to go from here after also trying all topical creams/shampoos & washing/re-washing bedding, combs, etc.
