Nope it is a Northern Pike the difference between the two is pikes have spots and muskies have stripes. You can also look at the tails pike have more rounded ends while muskies have more pinted like a triangle.

But muskie usually have darker fins

@@BrekenNicholesFanAccount Normally they do but that can be hard to tell due to bad lighting or the colors being similar due to enviormental factors. I just recomend telling them appart by using the sripes vs spots and the tails.

Spiny soft shells are aggressive, but this was a smooth soft shell. They are one of the most passive turtle species out there. Just couldn’t tell until I got close!
