Okay the seriousness of Jon it’s clearly because he hates interviews in gral, because he laughed while watching some of the pictures with Richie. I don’t know why he tortures himself doing the interviews alone. Probably if all the interviews were with the whole band together he would relax more. When he is with Richie it was much provable to see him laugh or smile, when he did interviews alone most if the times was quite serious and bored but with Richie his world kind of brightened. That good was their chemistry. I saw an interview with Richie and Jon promoting I think it was crush, almost the whole interview was kind of tired in s bad mood but at the end Richie took off that crankiness of him and made him laugh. It’s really sad how things ended between them. Richie made miracles with Jon, I’ve seen many interviews with them and if Jon stars in a bad mood and Richie was with him big chances were for Richie to cheer him up.

Jon and Richie were so good together. It's ashame their friendship got soooo strained. Richie didn't get enough recognition as an excellent guitarist. It's never too late to rekindle an old friendship and give each other a chance to give their own view and opinion without arguing. They are both older now and should be more mature. Maybe someday!!!🙄?

I relate to what Jons says but in the case of Richie i don't know...as talented as he is or maybe was he should have stayed as a guitar player first, he never acknowledged the success he searched for as a solo songwriter and singer. That is a fact.
