Five Two Fence and Dirt
Добавлен 28 сен 2013
Welcome to my channel! If it's made of metal, we will weld it, grind it, melt it, move it, bend it, break it, shear it, and form it. If its dirt, we'll move it dig it, play in and likely wear it. We were created to work hard and remain in motion, so follow along while we do both.
Battling this winters first snow to get our steel delivered || How to Spend $13,000 before noon
We don't get much snow here in Northern Arizona, but we did today as we started a 4 acre fence project and prepared to mobilze for an out of town project that includes a massive ranch entry way! Things got slick but things got done! We didn't damage any equipment, but we did manage to spend over $13,000 in steel, t-posts, concrete, and consumables before lunch!

Culvert installation using our Bobcat E40 Excavator | Our customer was thrilled
Просмотров 20512 часов назад
tasked with installing a culvert under the driveway to help. Our customer did not wish to bring in any replacement driveway rock, so we utilized some material from around the property and salvaged some of the existing rock in order to make this install as invisible as possible. At the end of the install our customer was pumped and very happy with the final product. Music: Call Me Musician: LiQW...
Using our Bobcat E40 and Kubota SVL75-3 to get rid of our customers' moat!
Просмотров 39019 часов назад
Our customers' home builder routed the water from their down spouts directly in front of their porch and front door. Watch as we cut back the hard packed soil and get rid of the drainage I am jokingly calling a moat. The rain is coming our way this weekend, so we are getting it done just in time. #binghamequipment #kubota #bobcatequipment #bobcat #dirtwork #excavation #constructionequipment #ex...
Risking my $80,000 machines to test Amazon G80 Chains | FitHoist G80 Binder Chain

In this video we use a trio of very well priced G80 Chains purchased off Amazon to secure our Kubota SVL75-3 and our Bobcat E40 R2. While we don't get analytical, we do share our impressions or the Chains and how they handled the pressure. amzn.to/3E1bIqM

A budget laser got me out of a bind! Our laser was stolen | Kubota SVL 75-3 | RV Pad | Septic
Просмотров 14514 дней назад
On this new build, it came time to construct an RV Pad so my customer could park and utilize his motor home while his house is being built. Unfortunately, the rotary laser we've been using for our dirt work was lifted out of one of my work trucks this week. Thanks to my folks RUclips channel and their affiliate program, they had a spare laser. Although not rotary or grading specific, it worked ...
Breaking in our new 2025 Bobcat E40 R2 Excavator & Why we went with this machine
Просмотров 34814 дней назад
We outgrew our last Mini excavator quickly, and it was time to find an upgrade that could keep up with our growth and not leave us looking for a new machine in a year or two. We chose the Bobcat E40 after careful analysis of its specs, but also after owning, operating, and testing its competition. I only said it 500 times in the video, but we are so very excited to be running this machine and w...
Kubota U35-4 vs KX-033-4 experience with the conventional vs minimal tail swing Mini Excavators
Просмотров 67114 дней назад
With our U35-4 in the shop for a drive motor issue, our local dealer Bingham Equipment of Prescott Valley sent me home with a KX-033-4 Mini excavator so we could keep working. In this video I demonstrate some of the characteristics of the KX-033 and discuss the differences and my opinion of the two machines. I end with discussing which machine I would purchase if I had to purchase another 3.5 t...

What size dump trailer? Trying to figure out if this will fit in my 7x14 dump trailer!
@@jakeapple280 mine is a 7×14 and it fits good
purchased the same machine a few weeks ago and very happy so far. Very similar to our previous E42. Good luck with it, it's a fun machine. Now I need to find a good skid steer to complement it.
That's awesome, I am glad you are enjoying it! I am quite partial to the Kubota skid steers. I've been running one of their machines for the last several years now and think they build one of the better skid and track loaders
@@FiveTwoFenceandDirt thanks for the info, I will absolutely check them out. Any thoughts on a 4 in 1 bucket? worth the investment?
Great video... I've been going back and forth between the new E38 or E40... I like all the creature comforts and the size of the E 38 but I like the price point and capacity increases on the E40. Are you still happy with your purchase or do you wish you would've gone another way? I am adding this to my Bobcat T 66 as part of a small rental an" For higher business". Long-term wise do you have any recommendations?
Great questions! I am still very happy with the E40, and I am glad I moved up from the U35. For general transport and usage, the 3.5 ton class machine was nice because of its lighter weight for towing. The issue I had with the Kubota U35 was its 24.8 HP. It was a real, production limitation. The E38 seems to solve a lot of the shortcomings I noticed with the Kubota U35, and had the U35 had more power and digging depthblike the E38, I would still have it. Regarding E40 vs. E38, I would consider your transport first and foremost. Not only how often you tow, but if you're also need to tow additional materials or attachments with the machine. There is close to a 1,200 lb difference between the machines and a little width difference. Through trial and error, I have found over the years that I if I can afford to purchase and haul a machine that slightly exceeds my needs in terms of performance, it ends up being more cost effective in the long run as it prolongs the need for an upgrade as well as minimizes over doing it with a machine that is a little small for the task at hand. I hope this helps a little! Thank you for the support and the great comment.
Have you weighed your machine ready to work, full of fuel? I have a 14k trailer and it is hard to get specs showing actual weight. The E40 may put me over my load rating. Trailer has 9460 payload capacity.
@@allthingspowersports5955 I have not weighed it, but I can before the weekend and see how it sits full with a bucket and operator
What size generator was used to power the welder? Looking to power a lincoln tombstone for a corral build. Thanks in advance
Good morning, I use an 11500 starting watt generator. I run the welder off the 240v plug and have plenty of additional power to keep power tools charging. I'm using a Champion generator, but I found that you can get away with a lower wattage high-quality generator such as a Honda. I have a Honda 6500 that I use on some of the job sites and find that in a lot of ways it matches the larger champion. The downside is a lot of the lower wattage generators like the Honda don't have the higher amperage 240-volt plug like the champion does.
@@FiveTwoFenceandDirt Thank you for the information and assistance. It's appreciated. New Subcriber here!
