You can get the Sharpie off your kissing Barbie's lips with Oxy acne cream or any other with benzoyl peroxide.

I heard the vintage looking heads are made to work with the modern Barbie neck hole size so a tennis made to move could work with her. Also maybe some fabric tac glue to the inside of the head to hold the hair like people who reroot uses.

Just last night I was browsing Gene (and Madra) dolls and outfits on eBay and marveling at just how affordable most of them now are compared to when they were released back in the '90s and aughts. (The Ashton Drake years.) Gene played a huge role in kicking off adults collecting fashion dolls back in 1995 when she first appeared, and she deserves more love today! Let's bring back Gene Marshall!

Stunning gene doll haul with clothes and accessories and shoes! One of my favorite additions is the set of fashion cards in the envelope!, it’s great for research and outfit inspiration… I’d totally use that a lot. The other fantastic thing is all the bonus props sized for this glamorous gal. Also thank you so much for the dolly fashion show and taking the enormous time and effort to dress the 3 girls in all these outfits!

I just have one a girl with blonde hair who looks like Marilyn Monroe, but I would like two or three more.

Hi Kada, I really loved seeing you dress up your Gene Marshall dolls. I have two myself but have never redressed them. Right now they are packed away as I like to bring them out as a treat for myself at Christmas time. They really are beautiful dolls with a fabulous wardrobe. You have so many outfits. Fantastic!

I have a few....and a few outfits. And I played with them just a couple of days ago. Along with Madam Alexander "Alex", Tyler Wentworth and Trent Osborn. Yes those shoes (sigh). The clothes are fabulous. But most of their clothes I sewed because I couldn't afford them at the time. Some of the dolls and clothes are affordable now though. Make sure you show and tell your new acquisitions.
