yeah I know what you mean, but this time the clean and modern sound was intentional - it`s easier for the popular crowd to get into it. Thats my kind of summer tune. Don't worry I am workin on 3 brand new Lofi House tracks :)

@@jakeblamesmusic Fair enough -- I guess to be more frank and direct with my meaning, I think the current mix sounds sterile and "out of the box". To put it another way, I dunno how well it would bump on a club PA and I figure the intent given the style is for it to be a dance track. The mix drags it down imo -- makes it sound like most any other soundcloud producer despite the arrangement and composition having more potential than the average dross one finds when digging. It could still be mixed "clean and modern" but meld better and have more character than it does now. Not sure if this 2 minute version is your final version or if its just for uploading to RUclips, but I just assumed you have a club mix either in mind or ready and are possibly not fully "done" with the song. FWIW it sounds really nice on laptop and phone speakers. Anyway, just thoughts from a stranger on the internet you have zero reason to take seriously. What could I possibly know, really? Fun song, good job and keep making tunes.

@@jakeblamesmusic It sounds like something I would hear coming through the PA system at a Kava bar (in my imagination) Also this is not a backhanded insult even though I think kava is stupid and kava bars are even stupider. It's just where my mind went -- it has friendly sounds that insist upon its own "chillness" and "mellow vibes" while having an edge of "cool yet detached irony".
