From what I’ve heard, and I have no evidence to support this so take it with a grain of salt, but a lot of these companies have big money backing them and pushing for them to act more ideologically while helping them mitigate the risk. It obviously isn’t always successful with Bud Light being the prime example of how to reap what you sow by alienating your core consumer base. That being said it wouldn’t surprise me if some sort of special interest group or George Soros money is behind this chicanery. The ideology started in the Universities and is spilling over into the culture.
