Hi Joe back with your fine video hope all is well been away again finely setting in to retirement catch you on the next one
Hi John, Good to hear from you. All is well, retirement sounds good :) Cheers
Joseph is a razor master. It is always a pleasure to see the shaves you perform. By the way Musgo Black is a top notch cream. Have a great week my friend.
Hi Paul, Yes that was a special one. Always appreciate your comments. Have a great week yourself.
I'm a steel person ,your finishing is superb Joseph 👌
Thanks Martin, i have a secret way of removing grind marks and im still progressing.
Fabulous results by my reckoning 👌
Cheers
wow those scales are absolutely stunning as is the razor . frame backs are definitely one of my favourite razors for sure 👍
Hi Paul, They are pretty swish :) Have a great week.
Great work Joseph, love the scales on the CT Bingham beautiful.
Thanks Jamie, I think i can get another set from that blank, can't wait to try.
Very handsome blades my friend. 💯
Thanks Chuck.
Absolutely gorgeous this one. Congratulations!!!!
Thanks, much appreciated. It is a bit gorgeous.
What is more quality than Wade&Butcher
Lovely work Joseph 👏 im not really a jnat person , i admire those trully old razors , but cant afford them . Your work is amazing 👏.
@@Martins-Shaves123 Thanks Martin, Jnat honing is a spiritual experience for me. If the mountain has a spirit then do does a piece of it :) The older the razor the better in my books. Thanks for the compliments.. Have a great week. Cheers.
5:36 I still find it funny that you always do the left side in one stroke. Old habits I suppose. I like that John Heiffer, it deserves a new set of scales.
Hi T, I shave on autopilot. John Heiffor is waiting for me to finish my Tally Ho for next weeks shave. Cheers, have a great week.
Good job 👍🙂 is this razor for sale?
Hi, these razors will eventually get on the website. You can always email me. Thanks.
Those can't be the same razors... wonderful job my friend
Thanks Sean, It was difficult to start these restoration because of the work involved, luckily it all went well .Cheers
Joseph, a very nice lineup, those pair of John Pearce razors look great. PS very good detective work the the connection to the Wild Bill Hicock razor.
Hi Jamie, They took a layer of skin the shave was really close. Happy they are restored and i can move on :)
3rd Razor is a beast. First one worth to be in Museum. Nice work as usual.
Thanks Ded, It is a beast. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I push the pin true with my drill machine but don't let it run. But the pin for tapping in the drill machine and push it true. The scales don't brake like that.
En donde se pueden conseguír las navajas qué usas.
Hi, They are for sale on my website which is linked in the description. Unfortunately the website is broken at the moment but should be back to normal later today. Thanks
Great work done again Joseph 👌👏
Thanks Frank :)
Your website appears to be down at the moment, is something wrong?
Hi Gary, Hopefully it should be back to normal tomorrow. God willing :) Thanks
Perfect harmony 👌
Needs a decent sound system to appreciate. Cheers Martin.
Outstanding work Joseph. The Greaves scales look fantastic. Good stuff 👍
Thanks Mick. Much appreciated :)
I want a greaves & sons so bad
One day Sean, one day :) cheers
W Greaves & Sons, what a treasure. And Joseph, you really are a razor master. It is a pleasure seeing any of your vids. Please never give up of showing your skill mate. Have a great week my friend.👍
Kind words. Thank you. Have a great week yourself :)
Nice. Very nice. 👍
Many thanks :)
@@EdgeDynamicsEnglishRazors I can’t open your site :( 503 Service Unavailable
Sorry about that. My website company are on the case. Thanks
Masterful restorations Joseph, and a great shave ...wish i could restore that well ( I know my place 😂 and I keep to the lesser makers )
Hi Martin, I am always improving so check me out in 10 years from now :) Thanks
Perfection to the very details.
Mr Altino, Thank you.
Joseph, I love the look of the Greaves.
Hi Jamie, It is a quality piece. Thanks :)
Great stones. However, the condition of the last stone is very poor; it was dropped during processing and has internal fractures. Why do you need such a large size? Is it really convenient to use?
Hi Beibit, I do not need such large stones but that is how they cut them. They are not convenient nor inconvenient. They are huge :)
As usual. Top.
Thank you Sir.
Amazing finish on the cooper 👏 possibly pewter caps and inlay ? Im not surprised it shaved you well , as you'd already found the qualities of the steel 🎉 Excellent shave from your wonderful restoration 👏
Hi Martin, Yes pewter sounds and looks right. It is a little gem that one. Many thanks.
Love the intro 😂 Nice blade and shave 👍👍👍
Thanks Peter, It is a good intro but i have one with zombies which beats it, i think :) Cheers
I missed something. Why are you lacquering a water stone?
Hi, These stones are sedimentary and can be unstable to a degree. Sealing the stone stops water from soaking in at the sides and it also creates a protective case. Untreated, pressure at the sides can cause layers to separate. Thanks
@@EdgeDynamicsEnglishRazors Ah okay, that makes sense. I've never used natural stones, I just use my stones for sharpening so I have ceramics (mostly sigma power).
Great video Joseph!
Thanks Sean, Cheers.
Joseph, a great looking razor the James Cooper, and more importantly it delivers a great shave.
Thanks Jamie. The razor has an amazing finish, not a grind mark in sight :)
Are those blades plated with silver or something else?
Hi Johnny, The wedges are lined with solid Sterling Silver, the blades are vintage carbon steel. Cheers
@@EdgeDynamicsEnglishRazors How do you polish them up so mirror like?
Hi Johnny, It all about removing the grind marks so that a flat surface remains. I am the only person capable of this, maybe Dovo/ T.I can do this also. It is a secret that i would not share because there are many razor or knife makers wanting that knowledge. Thanks
Always beautiful razors and great videos
Thanks Sean
No one else can restore like you! Thanks for sharing
Hi Mr Odissea, Thank you. My pleasure.
Great work Joseph as you always do! Have a good one my friend
Thanks Sean, I hope you have a great week. Cheers
As always Joseph, you've done amazing work. Beautiful razors. Yes, Institut Karite balm is great stuff!
Hi Tath, Much appreciated, I hope you and family are keeping well and you are still restoring yourself. Cheers.
Thanks for posting Joseph. It seems that Arran improved a lot the creams. The razors were fantastic as usual. Good show mate. Hope you are doing well and busy. Stay safe. Cheers.
Thanks Paul, Glad i never tried previous version but these creams are fantastic.. Have a great week. Appreciated :)
Just amazing my friend. Your skill is unique
Cheers Paul, very kind.
Joseph, what a fine job you have done on the Joseph Elliot, I love everything about that razor.
Thanks Jamie, it does tick all the boxes :)
Quality to the extreme!
Thank you Altino :)
The wade and butcher at 0:37 is out of this world!
cheers :)
Man you do art on those razors and I think the way you do it is the way to go! You always test the razors if they shave well, at the end of the day that is the best way to see if it’s shaving good. Cheers
Hi Sean, It is the constant learning curve with restoration and honing that keeps things interesting. Making the videos is a learning curve also. I do not watch any shave videos or mix on forums however i did catch a couple of clips on your videos, nicely done. Thanks and have a great week.
@@EdgeDynamicsEnglishRazors Thank you my friend! I do some beginner honing but I’ve messed up too many razors trying to restore them 😂 I think I leave that to the more experienced people like yourself. Always a pleasure to watch your videos
A fine video there Joe been away for a few weeks hope all is well
Hi John, Good to hear from you. All is well :) Cheers
Joseph, The results from both razors and the soap looked very good.
Thanks Jamie :)
👍👍👍
Thanks.
Good show Joseph. Wade & Butcher great performer as always. I bought once a citrus cream, bay citrus i guess, from Arran Aromatics and was not a good protecting cream. That one seems to be different in every way. Now, Creed is Creed and nothing much to say. Tks for posting, and have a great week ahead mate. Cheers.🤙
Hi Paul, I think Arran now has only 3 creams, i have ordered another. Hope you have a great week too.. Cheers & Thanks.
Plisson hmw 28 =1000€!!!!!
@@massimopelagalli8465 worth every penny even the added taxes :)
Beautiful fimish on all your razors Joseph . The Aluminium was more valued than silver or ivory, or gold in 1825. When it was first discovered .
Hi Martin, Oh really, and i was imagining they had run out of funds and went with aluminium.
