The BERETTA 92 / M9 - As Seen in Movies and Video Games
Просмотров 8 тыс.3 года назад
Check out my Instagram! northwayarms Welcome to North Way Arms and the first video of the channel! I don't quite have a name for this show yet, but basically I dive into the Beretta 92 and lay down some basic information about it and then we jump in and analyze it's usage in video games and movies! Thanks for watching! Be sure to like and subscribe! We are taking a look at the FN...
Are you fan of John Woo movies 🎬 he directed feature Beretta 92?
Its in so many movies because of its movie star looks. The M9 is the most good looking pistol.
I hope this guy makes more videos. I see he only did two. I like his quick overall style.
Great video, i like you're ideas and thoughts on the different use in media
What kind of sight optic you have on this?
I only like the two Beretta 92s the m9 as the USA army version and the 92fs as an Italian made only just like 1911s as colts only!
This video is awesome hope you make more
I'm a year late to this video but, I have to say my favorite appearance of the 92 is in resident evil as the custom "Samurai Edge". Multiple variants for different characters, all being unique to their personalities and tactical preference. Great video.
Take two of them, make a constipated face, and jump around like you’re in a Woo movie.
please do vid man
My introduction to beretta was thanks to resident evil and the samurai edge
It was also featured in the gams Resident Evil and Rust
Still think Beretta variants beat out the sig. That being said the military does not always make the best choice
The beretta 92 will always be my favourite gun, pistola grande e bella
And I will only like the 92fa as Italian made only and the m9 as the only USA army made only those two Beretta 92s! And for 1911s only colts for me sorry!
The 92 series of handguns are the best looking handguns ever made imo. Not to mention it’s an amazing and effective gun on its own. Great video
Good job man!
Get Carter ,Also apears thia gun
Have you tried Desert Eagle?
Have you watched The Matrix movies lately?
How in the world is a video so informational and well-made so low in views? It's a shame, I can't fathom why it hasn't gotten more views.
The Beretta 84 was also Charles Bronson’s gun in Death Wish 2. Great video!
Trinity in the Matrix “Dodge this!” Beretta Cougar. .380 See www.imfdb.org/wiki/Beretta
0:26 Which game is it ?
I mostly know the F2000 from its use in Splinter Cell. It's funny, oftentimes whether a gun makes an impression on me in pop culture isn't how often it's used but which big name piece of media features it prominently. Since I'm a big Splinter Cell fan, Sam Fisher's standard loadout of F2000 and Five seveN made a huge impression on me. The Five seveN also isn't in that much pop culture media, but I ended up buying the Five seveN myself entirely based on its usage in Splinter Cell. Dirty Harry did the same for the Model 29 and James Bond did the same for the Walther PPK and P99 for me.
You have a lot of potential, good work man!
Make more videos. This was a decent format and I appreciate it.
Subbed immediately. Good stuff man, hope you make more.
Fun fact the taurus isn't a clone because Beretta sold the entire manufacturing plant in Brazil to taurus including the blueprints with they workers and equipment. Taurus then improved on the Beretta design switching the safety and live switch from the slide onto the frame making racking the slide more efficient because the switch on the Beretta was continuously getting switched onto live and safe while soldiers was testing the Beretta.
Fun fact 2: Taurus did not desin the safety on frame, that was Beretta's original design that Taurus inherited. Beretta then switched to the safety on slide that we see today.
Bruce Willis is left handed. The Beretta 92 would have been an ideal choice for John McClane at the time with the ambi safety/decocker and reversible mag release option given that a lefty was playing the role.
Excellent video
I cannot tell you how long I have been looking for an explanation for this. I am not a big gun guy but I kept noticing that the m9 is used in almost every movie nowadays despite it being a pretty basic-looking gun. I think you did a great job with the explanation and deep dive into the gun in media.
What a nice video I’m impressed, two thumbs up! Great job!
The bad rap it got for broken slides came from SEAL teams firing +p+ rounds through it which it was never meant for.
What other guns do you have in mind to do videos on next?
I have footage shot for a vz61 and a Makarov so those will be next in some order. But I plan to cover a decent spread!
Good content man, keep it up !
I just purchased a M9A1 and found your channel. Absolute Quality Content!
Love my commercial M9. Played in the snow with it two weeks ago immersing it in 3 inches of snow and trying it out. Did a brief video or two on it. The Quintessential American 9mm
You’re buddy on Reddit recommend this. I approve. Make more please.
So beautiful and very nice pistol I love it
Great Video, can you do the USP next!
I do have those on hand! Just a matter of time until I get to it. I'm a big HK guy so I've yet to decide which firearm from them I'll dive into first!
Found this off Reddit ,good watch
Dude, love your content. I love your presentation style, very unique!
Thanks! Was hoping to bring something different to the guntube scene.
Found you through reddit damn fine sir
Yeah I purchased the Commercial M9 early last year. Not only was it my first time shooting a Beretta but my first handgun to ever own prior to my AR15. Love this iconic gun!
Enjoyed the section about Die Hard in particular. Look forward to seeing your next vids!
