(rant) and ***sigh*** - the performer is no doubt one of the great performers... but why dressing like a half baboon-half eagle ? that is beyond me, sorry for ranting ! My grandmother was an oracle, (let's call her "shaman"), in her distant village somewhere in Asia, and she didn't need to dress with feathers and bits of leather to offer her "services". She was always very elegant and dressed like a lady. (End of rant). have a good day.

That’s awesome that you can visualize what you will make like that. I’m new to alligator juniper having just moved to southwest NM area. Found 2 standing dead ones way out back of my property but I haven’t had time to get to the ranger station in reserve yet to see if I can Permit to cut or if they have to be naturally downed. They look like they’ve been standing dead for quite a long time. I also have no idea how to take one of these beasts down. I’ve only worked with pine, cedar, and lodgepole. The guy who lived here before me was a woodworker and left me real nice planks of alligator juniper. Wish I had the woodworking talent. It would be a great hobby to have out here. Thanks for the video. Good stuff.

Most rollbacks are caused by more than the average weight in the car and excessive winds from the lake. More weight causes you to slow down quicker due to stronger pull from gravity and winds help it by slowing the car even more.

Actually, I live this ride so much that I did my research, and its not that the ride wasn't fast enough, its that the weather changes. see, when the sun goes over a cloud, it could cause a rollback, and if it started raining, it could cause a rollback. pretty much anything that is a major change in weather, it roll's back.

Looks like where we had the "Official Ceremony" (beer drinking with the Perkins boys) when it was designated a wilderness area when I was a kid.
