We loved this show from 1998 as a much later rerun from 2007 in memory of Alan Kalter as the Writers Guild of America was on strike then, this is now happening right away on the East Coast and the West Coast since May 2, 2023. And the TV-PG rating appeared on screen on "Late Show With David Letterman" as this show started.

Miss this so much lol. His original late night show just had a irreverent energy and vibe that has not been replicated.

1987 - I was 17 years old and watched Letterman every night at 11:30 on NBC in Chicago - best show on TV in the 80s.

Miss these late nights when I was in high school and college. Man what I would give to go back.

Every once and a while I come to RUclips and find a Late Night with Conan O'Brien intro to watch. Just brings back memories of the best damn late night show to ever hit the airwaves. Hard to describe the feeling I would get hearing this intro, knowing I'm about to watch some hilarious, fucked up shit. Love you, Conan.

I was 17 when Conan O’Brien replaced David Letterman. O’Brien did a really good job and I enjoyed the show but I still see him as the new guy, lol.

As a kid I knew I’d stayed up too late when this came on.

Young people watching late night television these days cannot begin to imagine how amazing this show was. Comparing it to today comedic wise is about the distance from here to the moon

In those days (1996-1998) I use to watch Jay Leno and then Conan, if I could not see them I record them on VHS.
