"Great question! Dial peers can apply to Cisco VTCs if you're using a Cisco IOS gateway for call routing. However, most Cisco VTCs usually handle calls directly through SIP or H.323 protocols or use Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) for call control. If your setup involves a gateway, then yes, dial peers are definitely relevant. Let me know a bit more about your setup, and I’d be happy to help!"
How do you enable camera and microphone if conducting a MS Teams call from a laptop plugged into WEBEX Roomkit Pro? I have the quad camera plugged into CODEC Pro and when conducting MS Teams I hear distant person through speakers, but cannot get cameras or microphone to work.
There are lot of things in this scenario, Do you want to enable camera and microphone on your laptop or you microphone and camera is not working on webex roomkit pro. If it is not working on webex room kit pro then you need to check the physical cables and the connections. if it is not working on your laptop and working on webex room kit pro then you need to check the settings on your laptop. Can you please let me know in little bit more detail about your setup ?

It is very rare to find high quality teaching videos on RUclips like the one presented by AVAYA through this excellent professional who can be called a gentleman and engineer, because in addition to making a brilliant introduction to what signaling and media means, he transmits lot of knowledge VIA five videos and including progressively SIP topics as well as pronouncing a very clear English ( very important) that really invites you to listen and learn. My congratulations to this brilliant professional from AVAYA and I recommend all employees of telecommunications companies such as Ericsson, Nokia, to take this course to learn what they are really doing at work since 90% of their engineers support SIP without fully understanding the difference between signaling and payload. If i have tried to connect cucm and clixxo exchange using sip trunk and i am able to dial to cucm bit not vice versa. How to troubleshoot it.
Check and verify that SIP trunk from CUCM to Clixxo is properly configured, ensure that destination address of clixxo exchange is correct. Use RTMT (Real-Time Monitoring Tool) on CUCM to check call logs and SIP messages for any errors. On the Clixxo side, confirm that calls from CUCM are not being rejected due to authentication or formatting issues. Double-check that Clixxo is configured to accept calls from CUCM. Confirm Clixxo is set to route calls to the correct destination.

What is the difference between Early Media and Early Offer?
Early Media is the actual audio or video you experience before the call connects. For example, when you hear a ringtone or a pre-recorded message (like “your call is being forwarded”), that’s Early Media. Early Offer is a method of starting a call by sending media setup information early in the process. In Early Offer, the caller includes details about their media (like codecs and IP address for audio/video) in the very first SIP message (INVITE).
If instead of proxy ,its B2BUA,then ACK will be sent hop by hop? Reference to Q.20

Yes you can, you can open the trace file using a text editor or log analysis tool. Filter the information you need and save the filtered data as a CSV file
