I know you shouldn’t question the logic in these 80’s cyberpunk anime movies but sometimes… or most of the time, I’m just shaking my head and wondering why x or y is happening when it could have easily been avoided. At ANY point our mc could have just stopped and let them take him out but he would rather put thousands of people’s lives at risk and cause millions of $ worth of property damage just so he can see his girlfriend? It’s crazy. And it’s not just the mc, the bad guy is just insane for no reason, he’s jealous of a human piloted machine, why? It’s no different to his tank but he’s threatened by something that he could pilot to boost his ego. And the female scientist/pilot, her machine was trashed but so rather than get the civilian out of the other suit she tells him to fight a trained experienced veteran soldier who clearly wants to cause mayhem… I loved every second of this movie, but I think that’s because I’m a glutton for punishment and like to complain at stupidity lol

The superior cut of Fight Iczer-1. Not only did they add in new scenes and rearrange some but they even fixed a few. Namely the scene of the Fuji One crew. They don't look goofy like in the original version.
