It was possible for Germany to win if they had attacked more earlier or just waited out the winter and give the men proper winter equipment but they have to move extra quick due to the horribly hot summers in Russia as Napoleon lost more of his troops during the summer from exhaustion and if Moscow fell it would heavily cripple morale and if the USSR had no Allie’s then they would suffer more as the Allie’s sent them parts to build tanks and if Moscow fell then Germany could send more troops to Leningrad which would cripple morale even more but the Soviets would likely establish their capital somewhere else but morale would be incredibly low and losing Moscow and Leningrad would be a huge blow to Russian industry and if Stalingrad fell then the Russians would not have enough oil for large operations while Germany would have plenty with the combined support of Romania sending millions of barrels to Germany a day and if e caucuses fell then it would give them more oil but if the Germans pushed even further then morale would cripple even more and if they lost all their industrial areas then the would be back in 1917 where Russia had barely any proper equipment to give to all its soldiers and if morale became low then it is likely the red army troops would begin to defect and surrender en mass or mass mutinies would breakout
