Love this!! Anticipating seeing the next part and your Mari Lywd! 🖤❤️🤍
Going to work on that today! Thanks for tuning in!
Beautiful pages.. colors are so pretty!
Amazing work-well done!
I'm incredibly impressed-well done!
Appreciate the views - and the comments!
• I’m truly astonished-kudos to you!😜😜😜😜😜😜🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠
Thanks for watching!
I love the way you used the stamps to create your garden. Grateful that you shared your process..
Grateful you are tuning in! ;-)
can't watch..that plinky music is just soooo annoying. Why not just let us watch in peaceful quiet?
Noted! LOL. Some people like it, others don't... please keep tuning in though!
How rude! The volume button??? Maybe use it if you want peaceful quiet!
Turn off your volume and quiet is yours!
Love to watch you create, thanks for sharing your process with us 🔥
My pleasure! Thank you for tuning in!
Good theme!🌞
Trying to find the joy in every day...
We had a Red Wave ❤❤❤❤❤❤ ❤
May I ask what you are using for your journal and is it square? I like to watch you create-I am so sad the blue wave didn’t pan out as we were all hoping and anticipating, time to hunker down and take care of ourselves and each other
Yes! The journal is by Arteza, a watercolor journal because I like the heavy weight paper. It is 8" square.
I like the stamps from foam tray material!!
Awesome! Creative recycling at its best!
You have given me some interesting ideas thanks!
Hello. I am thrilled to have happened upon you. So sorry I missed your misunderstood Greek woman series. I lived and taught in Greece for 3 years. I love love love female archetypes as well. Anyway I could have access to the course you gave. Would be wonderful. Please let me know. Warm regards.❤
Sorry for the delayed response! I plan to have the previous classes available for online enrollment - at your own pace... hopefully early in the new year! Please stay posted! And there is an email sign up on my website if you are interested - although I will post here as well.
Awed once again. Thank you for sharing! Such great ideas to inspire me particularly because I want to incorporate more artwork in my journals. You're amazing! ❤
@@teresacobb1760 - oh thank you. I’m blushing. Just remember you have permission to play!
Wow. So stunningly beautiful. So glad I happened upon you. What luck! You've definitely inspired me. Beautiful palette as well. Love love love selkies and the lore associated with them! Thanks. Curious please...how did you do the transfer of the lady? See you next time ❤
Oh yes! I knew I forgot something... Thats done with a Xerox OR Laser print. Im using a Chartpak Blender pen with Xylene. you can transfer the toner with a firm burnishing of the image. Use in a well ventilated area!
Perhaps you could put X and Y on the same page.
Yes! I have to find the pages I tore out.... so it could happen? LOL
Ooooh cutting the slit in the dictionary page was genius. Well done! It turned out amazing
Thanks! I do love layers, and getting that sense of elements truly integrated. Glad you liked it!
Love these celestial Goddess pages... stunning. ❤ Yes the slit through the dictionary page was great. Your Goddess stamp, is that one you carved out on vinyl or...? Thanks 😊
I love the rough edges you get when you’re using with the styrofoam. It looks very organic.
Great ideas! I also enjoy the ambience of dog noises, especially when sped up. 😊😂
What kind of colored pencils did you use? I like how you just added water and it became like water color. (I'm new to this kind of art.)
@@donnakaymaltese9080 Thanks for watching! My water soluble colored pencils are “Inktense” by Derwent. My favorite “regular “ brand is Berol Prismacolor. But crayola brand are decent too!
Lovely. You could use a fine knitting needle to create finer lines. Find one that is rounded and not too pointed. Goodwill shoule should have something if you don't have any. Thanks for sharing. xoxo
@@scrapbagstudios that would work well!
Cannot wait
I cannot wait for this class! Thank you for leading us ❤
This looks like an exciting class!!! Love it!
We are on the journey together!
Such a creative way to use dictionary pages!
Thanks - I love a text element visually, and extra love when it adds a layer of meaning.
Good job on this. I also love the organic feel of the stamps you created. I'm not sure why people feel the need to post negative comments. If you don't like what you see, there's no reason to watch. Simply move on.
Thanks for that! And thanks for watching and supporting the channel!
I had to watch this again because I recently had a suggestion that I help teach some kid crafters…I don’t have much experience with kids but it might be fun…it sounds like you may be a teacher Jennifer, is that true? And do you have other child appropriate craft things on your channel?? TYSM! Really enjoyed it again!!
Yes Donna - 15 years in the public school classroom, and an additional 15 years teaching at galleries/arts centers. I am moving away from that now - so there wont be any specifically child - oriented videos. Although many techniques are adaptable! Thanks for touching base!
Really enjoyed watching you create! The music is an added bonus! Thank you for the inspiration🙏
Music has a learning curve to be sure! Glad it is working! Thanks for the comment.
I know what I'm sending you for Xmas Jenny ❤ this helped me work out some ideas for text stamps!
Woohoo! <3 Lisa!
Lovely, organic foam stamps! Nice altered art journal layout process. TFS!
Oh it's my pleasure. I love when viewers take the time to comment - I appreciate it!
I am amazed at how nice torn scraps of paper and a few other mediums turn out. Do you have a plan for your pages before you start?
Oh thank you for tuning in and commenting! This page - no plan before I started - other than incorporating the page from the dictionary. Then its step by step. Paper... ok what does it need next? And just go with the flow - seeing how it looks, where it has "dead" space... Some pages that are themed, or for a class lesson if I am teaching... this are more planned.
This is cleaned up? Really? Never spanked as a kid were you? (Not judging just observation)
Ha! Yup- this is clean and ultra organized. A working studio as this is my full time.
I would use hole punches for the circles
Totally! If you have them, use them! When I taught full time - we never had the gadgets, so I tend to still do things :"old school" LOL.
Love it! Was that blue acrylic you used on stamps in the project in your journal?
The first was Pthalo green ( Jerry's Art-a-rama store brand SOHO) the second was a premixed aqua from a set. (Dick Blick) but any acrylic will do. I like regular body acrylic with the brayer. Fluid acrylics are too... fluid for stamping IMO.
Just watched this and immediately subscribed. Thanks so much for this! It was very helpful. I just bought some stamp making supplies and I learned some things from you already. Great video!
Oh thats great to hear! Thank you!
Love the doggie sounds throughout the video ❤ Also love the project! Takes me back to my teaching days 😊 tfs
What did you teach? I was MS art and then HS art/ceramics! ;-)
@@JenniferDaviesReazor I taught art fundamentals to K-5 and pottery to all ages (including adults). One of the best things about teaching for me was showing my students that creativity didn’t have to be stunted because of a lack of money or store bought supplies.
Sounds like you have Huskies!😃
Close - my studio company is a Belgian Malinois! Maybe she will make a cameo some day...
Keep doing what u do ,i like full content ❤
Sorry for the delayed response! I was away at a show. SO excited to see so many new faces here!
New subbie! Love seeing your sweet face! Love your vibe and print making!! Please keep going! Yay!!💕
Oh you are so sweet! Welcome to the channel - and thanks!
Wow! Love the print…I can imagine doing leaf prints ( just because they are a personal fav) and all sorts! The sort of doodle type stamps can be quite expensive so I really do appreciate this!! Thank you! 💕💕
Yes - it's super satisfying to make the stamps yourself - and you can always get what you need, on time, on the cheap!
I'm a new subscriber 😊 Looking for to seeing your other videos. I really like the stamps you have made
Great! There will be more. I find hand carved stamps really fun and satisfying!
suggestion for editing: say "I'm going to cut these out", pause the recording, and start recording again by showing the circles already cut out & saying "that's done" instead of making us watch that step. makes the post shorter & saves us having to watch what we obviously already know how to do. also, have your tools already out & ready instead of making us wait while you search for this & that. those unnecessary delays make me "move on to better edited posts" instead of choosing to subscribe. the hints & suggestions may be just what I want/need, but "presentation is everything" & the lack of proper editing interferes with the message getting thru.
You know, as nicely as I can, because I am assuming that you actually do like the content, I think that she did speed up the video in lots of places. Sometimes it is more helpful to just be supportive and perhaps you tap the fast forward button without expecting our sweet creators to be perfect? You probably did mean your suggestion as helpful but, on your side, maybe ask yourself if it is necessary and focus on the great ideas.💕💕
Thank you for tuning in - its great to hear viewer's opinions.
@@donnacarraway9182Well said! 😊
Loved the organic look of the stamps
Thanks - the styrofoam is def. organic and not too precise...
Love. This! What ink pad should I use to stamp on fabric?
I would try the Archival ink stamps first. That ink is permanent/waterproof. But... you may have better results with acrylic paint and a brayer - paint will give you a "juicier" stamp and better coverage.
Can you tell me what the big crayon type pencils are?
Yes! They are "Woodies" by Stabilo. And they are so versatile - they are water soluble.
Love your hand-carved stamp and a beautiful page.
Thank you - for your kind words, and for tuning in!
NEW SUBSCRIBER :) neat idea i am all about STAMPING LOL so i like this idea
Sweet! Glad to have you and welcome!
Great idea - enjoyed watching. I liked how you smoothed out the straight line on the wavy pattern.
Thanks - the styrofoam does make you go with the flow a bit...
