    Thank you for this. I don't have broad shoulders but have a noticeable difference in depth between my upper back and front and therefore need much more short rows to cover the hunch in my neck and back..

    Thank you for the "Why" of adding short rows to the neckband! There's so many videos as to how, but not to many on when and where to add short rows to help with fitting or for particular patterns.

    Thank you! I’m trying to add this shaping to an existing pattern that doesn’t have neck shaping. You said 1-1.5 inches of short rows for an adult, but what about for a 2 or 4 year old? Should I just halve that? Thanks again!!

    • @unwind_knitwear
      @unwind_knitwear Месяц назад

      Yes I would have thought that around 0.5-0.75" of short row shaping would be sufficient for a 2-4 year old.

    When I get to last three stitches there is a marker and no others after that but after says knit to marker states “sm, K to last st of row , pm k1 but there are no more markers for the rest of this row. When I look at your video it looks like you had one marker left too once you completed last three knit stitches. What am I missing?

    Very nice tutorial in explaining how to pick up sts and making the Icord. I have a sweater pattern worked top down. Is it possible to work the Icord edge at the beg of the pattern or is it just for finishing afterwards? Thx<3

    • @unwind_knitwear
      @unwind_knitwear 5 месяцев назад

      It is possible to knit an I-Cord on its own and then pick up stitches along the I-Cord to create the stitches you need. It is also possible to work an "I-Cord Cast On" but I find my tension on the first row of stitches is a little off with that technique. If I find a solution to that issue I'll post a tutorial on it!
