Carbondale is a small nice city that lies in Southern Illinois. It is the home of Southern Illinois University. It contains nice forests, lakes, farms, and weather (all of the four seasons can be seen). It is a quiet city!
My family lived in Carbondale for 21 years and enjoyed the small town convenience, sadly we moved 3 years ago close to a metro city due to low professional job availability. Sadly, a lot of students graduate from SIU University and end of moving back home or to a city where there are abundance of professional jobs.
