Can PCVR work on Apple Vision Pro via the developer strap that has a usb port?

I got booted out of reonite just for saying soo spankable ,a green avoly should up in a privet world got big and almost sat on me and all I sead wow what a big ass soo spankable and the next day I was banned ,m his name is Virgil but he got the boot for causing trouble and I never got a e mail of this and an apology for the Nasty gram that they sent me and I'll never go back

I tried running ALVR with my vision pro and I cant select anything. Whenever I pinch to select something, the line jumps to my forehead and points somewhere completely different

you can also drag files from your pc into resonite, like drag and drop, works as well.

The final vr game is real life looking matrix level, brain connection to feel like you are there

i can get so much more value with less money there is no market for the AVPro

I think this problem with eye tracking is because Vision Pro does not have eye tracking filtering, which is probably used in gaming headsets like Quest Pro or Vive Pro Eye natively. Most likely, this is because those Vision Pro applications have their own filtering when they need it. And so the ALVR software receives and sends unfiltered information from eye trackers to VRChat. By the way, I'm not an expert in this topic, and this is just my theory, which may be wrong.

The biggest problem with resonite is the lack of players/a community, and videos like this are great for spreading the word. Thanks for this

It used to be an iPhone app on my iPad, but they updated it so that it resizes nicely, so they might have updated it on vision pro too!

i think the only thing holding vrchat u[ so high is that it is the only real social vr game on quest

I like the idea of Resonite way more than I do actually playing it, at least in its current state.

As someone who's been playing for a long time, the performance issues are what is currently holding the platform back. runs like absolute crap, meaning anyone who doesn't have a god pc (even those of us WITH really strong pcs) gets 24fps max in a populated (8 players) session. This makes large scale events nearly impossible without absolutely TANKING the game's performance to the point where the dynamic bone system ceases to function entirely and everything starts spazzing out Additionally, the game's lack of permissions enforcement (almost every permission check is client side) means that it is near impossible to prevent a user who can join your session from ruining it for everyone else. Even if you block anyone except for trusted users from loading their avatar or spawning items, all they need is a small patch to their game to be able to edit anything in the session as if they had full permissions to (builder). Despite this, I still prefer it over vrchat. But it is absolutely not as good as people claim it is, nor is it at all ready for widespread usage. I won't get into my personal beefs with some of the dev/moderation team, but suffice to say, beneath the surface of this platform lies a dissatisfied community of veterans who have seen issues unfixed for years and years, and absolutely insane decisions made on how to moderate the platform. Don't even get me started on "collections not yet implemented" preventing an entire plethora of future features, or even CURRENT, EXISTING FEATURES from functioning unless you want to MANUALLY EDIT THE JSON RECORD FOR THE ITEM'S COMPONENTS. How about the tiny tiny amount of storage you get as a free user, and how there is no way to get more storage other than paying for patreon support (where storage is sold at a MASSIVELY overinflated price because you are "supporting the platform, not just buying storage" except that since there is no other way to buy storage, this IS buying storage.) well OK I guess I just won't make anything other than my avatar and my homeworld I guess. Good to know they're spending that patreon money on sponsoring RUclipsrs. God forbid paying the devs more and fixing the nonfunctional platform.

the game looks cool, unfortunately it runs at 20 FPS even with the few graphics settings all the way down. I've been in huge vrchat worlds with 40 people with less lag

Biggest downside for me is the Performance and that all is hosted on your own Maschine. If they adding servers making the Performance a lot better (and adding a Good IK for Half Body users) then i will try it again.

A 3060 is a terrible GPU. Evan a 1080ti is better than a 3060. Just upgrade your card and you'll have no problem, assuming your not CPU bottlenecked.

Protip for the files: You can drag and drop files from Windows directly (so your Explorer window) onto the running Resonite application and it will open them, so you can use whatever tool you prefer for organizing and selecting files with thumbnails and drop them into Resonite. I basically never use the Resonite file explorer.

Resonite is a cool gimmick, but it's not a very user friendly game. People can screw with your avatar without you ever knowing, the frame rate is crippling, and the controls are unintuitive. It's not meant for social VR, but it works well for people who are interested in a game to play on occasion

Ok but there are not enough people online at the most active hour, how should I take this seriously and choose it over VRChat with 20k+ online users while Resonite has 200?

I think the only thing that prevents me to play resonite often is the performance, im someone who gets really tired if my frame rate isnt consistent 120 (on VR) and usually lower everything down to achieve this, but resonite gets lagspikes randomly even on an empty world I know they're working on it, and it makes me really excited for when that patch comes out

I'm eager to play VRChat and Resonite eventually! I do hope to learn how to create things in these games. And yes, I know VRChat can be played without a headset, but I want to wait until I have one before playing.
