When you really think about it, the real victor here is Kong. I mean, he not only saved Godzilla but also succeeded in brutally killing something that looked a lot like Godzilla. Lol

Not really. They teamed up, Kong just delivered the final blow with Godzilla's help in charging the axe. Otherwise co-op games would say only one person on the team one if they were the one to actually complete the objection or wrestling cause the one dude did the pin
Godzilla helped him to succeed, so Godzilla is the victor here.
Kong was the one who defeated MG technically, yes godzilla charged his axe yadayada, but godzilla himself couldnt take on MG, kong actually got the hits and did very minor damage without the charged axe, and could defeat MG with the charged axe, if godzilla attacked with his dorsal plates tho he couldve gotten him prolly

He was beaten because of his exhausted body and waste of atomic breath. Godzilla still takes the credit, so at the end of the day, he was the sole reason Mechagodzilla was destroyed.

Kong was knocked unconscious and hurt so bad that the humans had to help him and even then he was below 25% hp so godzilla basically killed kong there but if it wasnt for the humans godzilla would have basically killed himself and kong
