baby everything everything is my fav everything everything
Love this. Fabulous band.
This song is fucking lit.
For the people that don’t believe in perfection. Well, that was it.
this is amazing best thing i've on this site
I love this song and they deliver live.
That groove at 3.47 is serious
Johnathans guitar is pure class
You learn more about a band watching these sort of videos than the prom kind. This band is the best British band for years, so imaginative and interesting it's scary. Bloody great musicians too.
michael spearman, what a drummer
Damn good musicians all of them
Even in their latest album he has some great drum parts
After listening to this and many of their other songs i am convinced that faithfully covering any of their songs would be almost impossible
Aww they look like little embryos here :)))))
'doughy embryo' - Leave The Engine Room. Lol
"pout, Hiawatra, can you smell the trees?" WHAT
It's another one of their songs...
Pretty difficult song to pull off live but they did it.
This was exceptional!
+Sabato Daniel Avossa we are in agreement.
Amazing, also lol'd at the Rude Boy improv! :)
Yes, I thought the same thing, I don't know why he did that, it made me laugh, there is a video of Jon doing a Rihanna cover, does he like Rihanna?
Is seriously nobody going to point out the subtle Rihanna lyric at 3:51??
Yep, seems so doesn't it?
@@jacvic0790 can't believe i was 18 when i wrote that lmao
@@raphaelschnee1172 bro old as shit
Original, unusual, and fantastic...
First song I heard and I love it :) what other songs can you recommend?
I Agree. The lyrics although sometimes difficult to hear or understand are really deep in meaning and creative. My favourite song at the moment is Schoolin' but i have still yet to figure out what the lyrics mean.
he's working that synth at 2:47 :P
im glad they got rid of that cheesey synth
Which?
@@jacvic0790might be refering to the synth in the album version. Although some form of it can still be heard on this live version
UNIQUE
it's a lyric to another one of their songs called 'Hiawatha Doomed'.. ruclips.net/video/_kqWd66ybEE/видео.html
Perfect! This was exactly what happened. I DVRed Jools for jamiroquai. 1st: Hated it but something interested me about them 2nd: Watched it before bed...Nice Radiohead mixed with some Gentle Giant 3rd: Bought the album Man Alive the next morning
So good :)
Please stay together long enough to make it to the US so I can see your brilliance! All I can say is WOW, just Fucking WOW!
this version has a few differences and makes it nice to hear how they improved on the track ever so slightly... INCREDIBLE PERFORMANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
this was filmed in 2010
epic water drinking at 3:57
I don't really know but it's one of their song lyrics.
There's a message written on the keyboard, it says "Pout, Hiawatha, you smell the trees" 0:31 What does it mean? :P
i love their music, but the vocals...have yet to grow on me. I still jam out to this song tho, it's awesome!
Time to invest in a new shirt? Same one as on Jools holland 2 years ago? Maybe he's got a wardrobe full of white dress shirt. Anyway awesome band.
He definitely changed the lead guitar in the last minute
Best band in the world <3
"Cough Cough" got me into this band (go watch if you don't know it), but songs like this and "Suffragette Suffragette" show more of their depth and complexity and keep me interested. The song says so much about living with increasingly sophisticated technologies and how they realign your perspective on life. "Who did your Photoshop handsome? You ready for reincarnation? Got to come back as something organic, or come back as something else."
Actually you're a total twat for being so manically egotistical and self-assured that everybody must like the same things as you or be wrong. I love this band but they're hard to get on with, they don't have the nicest sounding falsettos. They work but they don't have voices well suited to a falsetto like say Hayden Thorpe or Jeff Buckley. They're certainly not for everyone.
soooooo freaking great:))))))
DAT SOLO
that guitar-gasm at 2.39....intense chills up my spine.
hearing this song for the first time reminds me of that buzzing sense of awe when i first heard Smashing Pumpkins at the age of 13. An overwhelming snap of euphoria of hearing something so new yet immediate in its presence - its pretty rare in music. These guys are the most exciting thing ive heard in music for well over a decade
Me and my son were there, close to the stage on your left side....what a great night!!!!!!!
"Infinite and joyless little high frives" :D. But yeah, they're also slightly different at the start of the second verse, and obviously the added stuff in the end section.
slightly different lyrics to the album version I think? That's interesting
wow you must have been standing like a metre away from me!
0:25 that is some proper head banging jonathan!
his voice is insaaaaane. i fucking love it.
this song is clever on so many levels, drums 1st, keys, vocals and bass all follow up fast after, the best live performance on the jools show - period.... love it and it never gets boring, just when you thought music was all dried up, something as brilliant as this comes along... sweet...
