Les Fleurs Ensorcelees This is one of his more unusual compositions, but that is why it is so brilliant. Hope you enjoy!

Թող ոչ մի զուռնա նվագող չնեղանա բայց Սարգսի պես ֆանտաստիկ զուռնա նվագող չի եղել ու չկա նա ֆենոմենալ երաժիշտ է։

    Anlamadım.Tar-kamanın,ney-balabanın ermənilərlə nə əlaqəsi var.Bunlar ki,qədim türk alətləridi.Məgər ermənilər özlərini türk hesab edirlər?Musiqi də ki,türk musiqisidir.Yenə oğurluq edirsiniz?!!!Utanmazlar.

Bəli, oğlanın belindəki xənçər türklərə məxsus adətdir hansısa xarici əsərdə isə bu barədə yazılmışdı ki, bizdə oğlanlar uşaq yaşlarından xənçərdən istifadə edirlər bunun kimi bir çooox məqam var ki hamsı oğurluqdu.

My mom once received some of our relatives things - among them was a Rashid Behboodov record. I used to listen to it when I was little :) This is the best rendition of a non-Armenian singing in Armenian. And his voice... oh, his voice!!

Great Rashid! It is ironic that he died under circumstances related to Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict. Damn those who destroyed the spirit of Caucasus. So much potential has been lost over greed, racism and stupidity.

You're right about infinit stars. No matter how much we rate it, he's eternal, his voice is unique, he is the greatest master of Azerbaijani (and not only) culture. Yes, Azerbaijanians can be proud, we had Bulbul (Senior, not Polad ;-) ), we had Rashid and we had Muslim. Even if we'll never have such great masterpieces as they left us, it will be enough for the world history. But I blieve in our land, in our blood and our talant :)) After some years, IA, the world will hear again new voices.

No, he was not Armenian. He was born in Georgia and studied in Yerevan - Armenia and started his works there. Later he moved to Baku... I'm Armenian and I really love his songs. This shows how Caucasus cultures are bind together. I hope we will see friendship in Caucasus again...
