Nfl hall of famer john hannah was always a bit in awe of the size, blocking and speed of russ , so was belichick. Every bit as talented as gronk, patriot fan...rip to a great guy and great player

I was able to meet him when I was security in Kailua by Safeway and he was gracious to me and gave me his autograph. This was in 2007. I met some of his friends there and everyone was polite. I saw two pro bowls he was in which were great as that was the only time Hawaii could see him in person.

I met him when attending "Al Harrington, The South Pacific Man" show in 90s. I recognized him from Hawaii Five-0 but did not know he was a football star in America Football Conference (AAFC).

Ugh, Washington beat Green Bay in the 1972 NFC Divisional round but those were not Lombardi's Packers. That was Dan Devine's second season as the Pack's coach. Lombardi died shortly before the start of the 1970 NFL season after coaching the Redskins in 1969.
