Don't know if it was explained but yeah the Encounter Points count towards your daily commissions if you do stuff like open chests, unlock waypoints, kill bosses etc So if you don't like one of the daily commissions or one is too hard you can just go explore or kill the ice flower boss or something instead!

Should always just pull for and play the characters you like. Noelle is not as good at healing as YaoYao so you can focus healing bonuses on Yao and shield bonuses on Noelle. Should start leveling your artifacts and weapons. Leveling up weapons increases damage output more than leveling characters. Enhance is level of weapon, Refine improves its passive ability. Yes just push auto add on enhance. Dont worry about enhancing all your characters weapons, materials for that are abundant, every day you should be creating enhancement ore at blacksmith. You do not need four copies to refine. Cant refine one stars. Yay Sucrose, She is the second best Anemo applier in the game currently, still use her and I'm four years into playing.

Use Ambers pyro on big shield dudes to remove their shields. Use the travellers Anemo power to spread the fire. The big hillichurl at 19:40 will charge right over the cliff if you stand at the edge and dodge him. Lisa is easier to use her charge up skill if she is inside Noelles shield. If you attack with Noelle while she is in her shield each hit will heal your party members. The traveller does not need to be kept in your party and they are not very strong. Who ever told you rolling once is useless is incorrect. No need to use ten at a time does not change the probability at all. If it says ten rolls guarantee a four star it doesn't matter how you get the ten rolls, it accumulates. Welcome, have been playing since day one and your slow play style is IMO the way to play Genshin. For those people who don't want to play because it is a "Gacha" game, fear not I have so far spent ZERO dollars on rolls and have 80% of the characters. The dialog in brackets is internal, some other newbies seemed to be confused by this. Fire type is fine. (pyro) The green scanning thing is elemental sight, shows you interactable and hidden objects. Snoball can only use swords and Amber can only use bows. Characters can only use their assigned class of weapon. Plenty of hidden things. Yes more stars is better Artifacts increase your stats. Sets provide buffs. Constellations are for when you get multiple versions of the same character, you get one of the required materials. The Travellers you get automaticaly. Do not enhance one star equipment, one stars are trash. Always use the best weapon available for your characters then enhance those. Yes you want Noelle. She has shields, heals your party does a lot of damage, and best character for mining and wood. You do not have to have ten wishes you can just use them one at a time, does not change the probability. Yes buy intertwined fates. Starglitter comes from wishes. Noelle should have DEF that is what her shield scales from. Unused artifacts and weapons are consumed to level up your equipment. Some characters give bonuses for crafting. If you switch characters when Noelles shield is up they will be shielded. Some characters skills do different things depending on weather the button is held or tapped. If you hold Ambers elemental skill you can aim baron bunny before the throw and if you hold her ultimate you can aim where it lands. Switching between characters is Genshins core combat mechanic, IE if Amber sets a grass fire, then switch to snoball and use your burst skill the tornado will pick up the fire and spread it around. I'm catching up! I'm not sure if wishing has been explained to you yet, but if not I'll attempt it here! There are two main types of wish: those on limited banners which cycle every 3 weeks or so, and the standard banner which is permanent. The standard banner uses the blue Fates currency, and the limited ones use the Pink/Blue prettier ones. You can buy fates using Primogems, the currency earned from completing missions, opening chests, levelling up your statues of the seven etc. It's 160 Primogems for one Fate. The 'real money' currency known as Genesis Crystals can be converted 1:1 into Primogems, should you end up buying any of those. So if you bought 1600 Genesis Crystals that would get you 10 Fates. As a general rule, don't buy the blue Fates. You'll get a few of those now and then through just playing the game. The real useful characters are the ones on the cyclical limited banners. Every time the banners change, the Test Runs in the events pag allow you to have a trial run of the current characters to see if you like them. My advice for early game is to just wish on characters you like the look of, or ones you enjoy using in the Test Runs. You're guaranteed 1 4-star in every ten wishes, and a 5 star is guaranteed within 90 wishes (count resets when you get one). Some players like to just wish as soon as they have 160 gems and go one by one, others like to save up gems and do 10/20/30+ wishes at once. I know it's a lot to take in but once it clicks in your head it's quite natural!
