The difference between a Current A/C and Savings acc in inflationary times: A current account with Fiat currency is melting ice. Only useful and accepted in that country or jurisdiction of influence for commercial trx. A Savings account holds it's value. Certainly PMs or stable Commodity that can be liquidated or traded and exchanged for something else useful. Post September and October 2024 only PMs (Precious Metals) will be accepted internationally not melting ice of Ccy. So time to get some PMs. I got my savings in Sprotts Pslv ETF physical.

I think we might have further to go on the down side in Gold and Silver. Thus I am short term bearish but long term bullish.

Phil, the analogy is correct Silver is the poor man's gold. We purchase at micro amounts & take in small incremental movements. Some call it dollar cost averaging, but it's just an incremental accumulation of an asset class that's been considered money & a store of wealth throughout the course of history. The silver bug's enthusiasm stems from an understanding & belief in the principle of this trade vehicle regardless of the present society's ignorance to those facts. Debasement is a treasonous act & we're foolish enough to become apathetic to it's proliferation in our economy, so we deserve what consequences that brings. All that said i totally understand what you mean when saying "we trade the market we're in not the one we want." I value all of your analysis & always look forward to the metals minute to start each day, so thanks!

My understanding is that China said that they did not purchase any gold in May. That is far different from saying that they have concluded their gold purchase program. Are you sure about that statement? After a big runup the Chinese central bank is probably waiting for lower prices just like so many other investors including myself.

I just knew that Ag was poised to move lower to sub 26 level coming out of this past weekend (i had plotted a trend line chart & everything!😂)but it just wasn't in the cards. Sometimes my crystal ball ain't so crystal clear 😂 thanks for the technical' analysis on silver that keeps me in the know 👍

Thanks for your updates with technical analysis 👍 I stack Ag, so I look at as much data as I can to help guide me acquiring physical. Crossing my fingers geopolitical forces don't come in to play before the technical side of things along with hawkish fomc drive the price down. Don't get me wrong I like a good upswing, but I'm in acquisition phase, so I'm rooting for the bears! ❤

Entities with enough capital to own billions in GLD don't have to sell gold in order to buy bitcoin. And large entities don't go all in, they'll just own both. Gold is about to break out finally anyhow.

My spidey senses are tingling that something big is going to happen before year-end. I’ve scratched around this year and survived, but I just can’t call a single asset class for the rest of the years. Not stocks, not bonds, not commodities, not precious metals, not crypto. Even cash in a bank account is potentially vulnerable to a massive global debt crisis. The next 6 months could get very “interesting”.
