Prestigious and famous historians all affirm that the temple was built by the ancient Khmer people, however, because it is so massive, majestic, and has surpassed the thousand-year era, people are very impressed and find it difficult to accept that it was built by humans, especially the Khmer people when in fact, looking at modern times, it has weakened and lives in many places around the world, most concentrated in Cambodia, the architecture, culture was adopted, copi ed by the Siem people and developed more than the modern Khmer people at the moment, ancient Khmer land was almost lost, only a small country remained. For example, the human history dictionary, Britannica Dictionary, also clearly preserves the temples of the ancient Khmer civilization. You guys can search for the Preah Vihear temple, it's a giant stone temple on top of a mountain, built by the ancient Khmer people when they were prosperous, at that time nearly 70% of the current Thai land area was the land of the ancient Khmer empire, so later on, when the Siamese Thai people became stronger, they copied the ancient Khmer culture, they craved these ancient temples very much, the Sak Yant tattooing was also from the ancient Khmer people, the tattoo was all Khmer characters, not Siamese characters, the Siamese Thai people took advantage of the opportunity when Cambodia was poor to promote it to the world as theirs, because the poor people looking at the letters would not know which letters were Khmer and which were Siamese, because Siamese and Lao letters were also copies of Khmer letters. (If you know English, read the history on the Britannica Dictionary of human history and you will understand, don't read or look at the posts on FB, Pinterest... they are all made up by Siem thai ethnic to humiliate the Khmer people, there is no evidence and no scholarly sources)./ Speaking of the Khmer temple which is currently in Thailand but very far away is the Prasat Muang Sing temple, near the border with Myanmar, at that time the Khmer empire was over there. That's why it is said that every empire must collapse, the important thing is that the language and culture do not collapse, many indigenous Khmer people in the Mekong Delta now speak a mixed Khmer language, speaking half-fat and half-lean, in a few decades they will be assimilated and completely extinct.
