Earl Guthrie
Добавлен 5 апр 2012
Hello and Thank You for viewing my page. This page was created to be the home for music from my band "Earl Guthrie & the Boxwine Prophets", but I have also decided to place some videos and music from one of my favorite musicians and bands, Lowell George & Little Feat. If it was not for their music, I would not be playing music today.
I hope everyone enjoys what they find on this page, and feel free to check back often or subscribe to my channel to see what's NEW.
Thanks again for stopping by and viewing.

Hell yeah.😎
gota love sweaters in the 70s
From what I read Bonnie had used musicians that later formed a band heavy on horns and funk. Bonnie suggested they could the horn section in her backing band be the core of that AWB?
Pure talent !
Bummed that Lowell wasn't in this lineup. But any Feat is better than no Feat.
One of the best rhythm sections in all Rock-N-Roll! Thanks for the download! Absolutely love Little Feat!❤
some great music❤
🤩❤
Listening in 2024
Pure gold! Thank you, amazing footage of an incredible band.
Willin' with a split screen, beautiful!
I always thought it was rice 😂😂😂. Now I know!
Love Little Feat. Thank you so much!!!
Fiery performance
Thanks so much Earl. Respect is due.
More heavy petting at the well- lite Disco.🤔 Stay away from Estrada ☝️
WOW...great video. I saw them 3-4 times during the early period. I can't believe they are not in the R&R Hall of Fame...that's insulting to all real rock & roll musicians.
Agreed. I’ve seen them for decades, beginning with seeing the Waiting For Columbus tour to last summer 🎉 They’ve always been just amazing. Pair up your party tape with: Little Feat Marcia Ball Neville Brothers The Radiators [ NOLA ! ] Dr. John Professor Longhair Robert CRAY Gov’t Mule Tedeschi-Trucks Band Bonnie Raitt AND so many other fine bands / people 💥 [ … Sonny Landreth, Albert Collins, Amazing Rhythm Aces …. ] The fun dancing and laughter will go all night into the next day !
She played a few wks later the 19th at The Record Plant in Sausalito mayb same lineup? Bob Warford - Guitar Andrew Gold - Guitar (played with her during 70s) Doug Hayward - Bass Guitar John Boylan - Piano (as did Boylan) Jimmy Hodder - Drums Jeff "Skunk" Baxter Jeff..Andrew & John joined her on an ep of the Midnight Special Dec 23 73 John and Andrew producer of one of her albums and John actually put together Rick Nelson Stone Canyon Band ..anyhoooo I can't be for certain this is her lineup here...can't see them too clearly with my bad eyes lol
'On My Own Two Feet'>'Real Lies; Blues Busters: 'Accept No Substitute'[#1-'86]> [#2] ''This Time' on Landslide. The stuff you gotta watch.
BEAUTIFUL, THANKS!
Priceless video. Thanks for posting.
Thanks Earl This is awesome
The Feat are amazing and so is your determination, Earl. I first saw them a couple of months after this broadcast and of course they looked and sounded the same. The best live rock band I’ve seen since or before. Btw, Lowell threw “qualudes” and “cocoa” into the lyrics of Tripe Face Boogie and somebody knocked the tambourines off the keyboards (a guess) towards the end of the song. Also the sound effects by Sam and Richie basically covered wine and sex aspects of Willin”, although I don’t recall the latter in the lyrics. Great to see the band when they were healthy and happy.😃
I was a senior in high school when this came out. Love 'em. So many memories......
SF 75. Berkeley 76. Oakland Colosseum 89 (wi/ Bonnie Raitt instead of LG). Wow. I have been blessed.
Oh man, good stuff! Thanks Earl!
Earl, you are the man, my friend. Without you to keep Feat visible and relevant, you’re doing Gods work. Thanks for all you do!
Thank you Earl
Nothing out there remotely like this these days. Thank You Jesus for me being alive and young then.
Already shared it with my bros!! LFG!
Now this is a Rock N Roll treat. Saw em 1990, one of the best times I've ever had. Always remember when Sam would do his baritone.🎸😎
Holy smokes Earl!!!!! Thanks so much for the unexpected treat!
LOVE These guys.❤️
We were both movin' and groovin' to that sound, it's so far away to me. But the ghost of electricity still howls in the bones of our faces ...
Time it was oh what a time it was ... preserve your memories they're all that's left you
Bill Bateman From The Blasters?
Jep! :D Thanks!
Awesome compilation, but that was Paul Barrere, not Fred Tackett introducing Bonnie Raitt doing Runaway. Still lovin it!
Little Feat just had it in bucketfulls so naturally. So glad i was a Groovechild in the 70s.
Bill Payne!!!!! Best pianist in all of the rock 'n roll world
The band James Taylor would have dreamed of to sneak out after dark to go jam with, needing to get a testosterone hit after having to sing the soyboy anthem "You've got a friend" as his encore night after night.
Saw them at their fan excursion to Grand Lido Negril years ago. Taj Mahal was the other band (to amazing to call him a warmup). That was the greatest concert that I have ever seen! Lasted 4 days too. On the beach jamming every night.
I cannot believe it has been 45 years since I snuck a tape recorder into the Bottom Line to record this show. Ain't it funny how time just slips away!
This was a true super group, an incredible group of instrumentalists. Very underrated.
33:43 Day At The Dog Races. Do you realize that the drummer Richie Hayward is the thing here?
Forever in my heart
You interrupted the song with a fucking commercial?
Apparently when he was born his wife commented "hasn't he got little feet and the name stuck because when he got older he took size 16 boots and was going to change the band to big feet but this didn't go down with the ladies
So glad to have grown up in the 70's
The German dude in the leisure suit is KILLING me.
