America Is Dying From Violence

Well this is what the media portray as peaceful. Most of these protesters care about money and free products not about the real cause of what they are protesting about. Only to disrupt the lives and safety of others in the USA. It is truly a sad phenomenon to have such events occur, it is the failure of the system in which once promoted "The American Dream" and the increase of the "Multicultura...

Would you accept an American genuinely seeking Orthodoxy? I know the relationship between our nations is bad, but I love the Serbian people and I love Jesus. I plan on coming to Serbia.
Thank you for the question. I am not Serbian, I am Orthodox from Belarus. But to answer your question, Orthodoxy is for everyone, it does not matter what background you have, so I think that any Orthodox person would accept you with open arms regardless of nationality. Orthodox communities, especially those in the Balkans are very friendly and hospitable so I think you will easily feel welcomed. But, I would recommend to visit Serbian Orthodox Churches and experience the atmosphere and to talk to Serbians after the liturgy about any questions you have, because I am writing this comment from my experience with Balkan orthodox communities so your experience may be different. But, generally speaking Serbians will most definitely accept you into their Orthodox Church.
You're welcome ! Just come and enjoy :)

Once u go black ...this is what happens ...all projects were nice and new at once ...guess what happened...same as Jamaica
I guess in this case not necessarily but rather the leadership is what kept it nice, nevertheless you're right
Where can I find the full record?
This is singing from serbian monastery on Kosovo, VISOKI DECANI
I don't think there is a full recording of the litany. I've tried numerous times to get a longer video recording, like a full service, from the monastery Visoki Dečani, but I found nothing. Guess the only thing left for us to do is to just go there and experience it directly.

Hi, thanks for the video. But I'd like to give you a suggestion for a small correction. The language these monks chant in, is correctly called *(Synodal) Russian NEW Church Slavonic* which is the only version of Church Slavonic that survived and is used to this day, e.g. in the Orthodox Churches in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Serbia, Bosnia, Bulgaria and Macedonia. Old Church Slavonic however, ceased to exist as such around the year 1100 A.D, as it started to change dramatically due to it's adaption to spoken Slavic dialects and later to various Slavic languages. Well, and that what you can hear in this video is the new standardised 18. century version of the Russian variant of Old Church Slavonic, but as such being far away from the original Old Church Slavonic itself.
Thank you for the correction, I really appreciate it.
@@Slavic959 "Synodal New Church Slavonic" is the full correct name, but in every day speech this is simply called "Church Slavonic". I just gave you the full name to clarify, that this is not the same as OLD Church Slavonic. On the Net you will see many people getting completely confused and call today's standard Church Slavonic to be "Old Church Slavonic", that is why I gave you the full name. But calling it "Church Slavonic" or "(New) Church Slavonic" in the future, in case you upload more chants, would be completely fine and sufficient. : ) The difference between OCS and NCS is like the difference between Latin and medevial Italian. A lot had changed.
