LOTTIE PLOT EP2 THE COMPOST BOOGALOO
Good morning !! Coffee in hand here. Full day here so playing catch up on RUclips ❤ Orange Queen, I’d love some seed from those if you have any? Not heard of them and on your taste recommendation I’d grow them next year 😍 Our green zebra got pulled out early when we thought it might have had blight. So another for next year. We have just got our hands on a smaller version of your poly and seeing your success I’m excited to grow in it next year. Great tidy up, hope you had a fantastic holiday. Allie x
I'm looking at trying to save seeds from the orange queen's, iv never done it before, but if I'm successful, I will definitely message you so I can send you some . Filming has had to take a bit of a back burn at the moment unfortunately as iv a lot of personal stress but I'm still plotting along on the plot so ,I'm sure you will have plenty to catch up on once I get my self sorted lol
@@Sarahlottie94 aah Sarah, so sorry to hear that you have a lot going on 🥲 huge hugs 🤗 sending you some positive energy to help get you through xx
I enjoyed looking at your video!!!
Hoping to see more.
Hello❤
Can i ask where you got the orange queen sees from i cant find them anywhere... i grew them the first time 4 years ago and cant find the seeds now
I got them in a multi pack from.amazon
What a great harvest!!🤗
😂😂 I can’t find the name of mine as the label faded 🤦♀️. The green zebra look amazing Sarah I haven’t grown them. I also have a wild borage that I never sowed but hey the bees love it so I left it there. Getting some fantastic harvests Sarah good job 👍. Have an amazing weekend, Ali 🌞🇨🇦
The sound wasn't catching the mic that doesn't work, but rather the camera where the mic is working. At 03:41, you can see the camera shake at the same time as the loss of sound and the wind.
Can't hear you. Please fix sound
Lmao it's took me ages to understand what you say, right then plotters, I hear right then tossers 😂😂😂
Omg I should see if I could sneak that in ,you have proper made me giggle tonight
😆😆
Welcome home!!🤗 I had the same problem with the crystal apple cucumber 😭 I was a cucumber virgin though so had no idea the right way to prune it ( still not too sure! ) One fruit early on that I left too long and was bitter and then hundreds of flowers and no fruit so it went on the compost last week😆 To be fair the two melon plants did the same! That’s a might fine pepper harvest!
I can not believe just how bad my cucumbers are this year. I had hundreds last year that I had to give away. I'm hoping it's just a bad year for them this time round .
@@Sarahlottie94 Yeah, I think a lot of things have struggled this year. Hopefully next year is better!
whats worng with your mic
fix your sound
Nothing wrong with the sound. Whenever the sound doesn't work for me I close the app and re start it and then the sound normally works fine.
Wow it’s a jungle Sarah 😂😂. My cucumber was the same 😢. Some awesome harvests though Sarah so a win there. Good to have you back, Ali ☔️☔️🇨🇦
Thankyou x
I'm sorry, Sarah, but whether you like it or not, that mic is not working. I've helped you before, so please let me help you again. Take the mic 20 feet away from the phone/camera and speak into it with your back to the phone/camera, for a full minute. I guarantee you virtually no sound will be recorded. Leave the mic there and return to the phone/camera. Speak for another full minute facing the phone/camera. I guarantee you will hear everything.
I will give it a try thanks
Have a lovely holiday💖
Great job Sarah,mi find August is all about weeding feeding and maintenance. Then comes sowing and harvesting and you are rockin them all 👍. Have a super week, Ali 🌞☁️🇨🇦
higher the sound
I can watch u garden all day you are so beautiful, plz make more plz❤
Some days I say to my gardening self I’m just going to grow flowers 😂😂. I’m fed up of pests and issues and weather, but I think that just the life of a gardener isn’t it. I was looking at videos from last year and I was so much further ahead and harvesting loads. Shitty about the white rot and no rhyme or reason for its sporadic behaviour. Chin up there’s lots your harvesting. Have a super week, Ali 🌞🥵🇨🇦
I have had this thought myself this year, but I will attempt onion again and again I will moan lol
@@Sarahlottie94 it is in the gardeners handbook page 6 “ you must whine at least once when at the allotment” 🤣🤣🤣
Looks amazing sarah.💖
How are your nasturtiums so big?! The ones I grew at home in containers got absolutely mobbed with black bugs and went yellow and the ones in the ground at the plot are tiny!! 😅
I honestly don't know, but they are taking over everywhere 😊
Good to see you Sarah.glad your mojo is back. Lovely harvest. Enjoy.💖
Yay!
I think a lot of people have “lost” the mojo and can’t blame you if it never stops raining. Here it has been mid June since we had rain and we finally got some today and I couldn’t be happier. Sadly it’s not enough for the garden or the fires up country. Compost looks great Sarah yiu should have some amazing mulch soon. Have a super and hopefully sunny week, Ali ☔️🇨🇦
Your garden is so colorful and it's so beautiful ❤
Very beautiful my friend ❤❤❤
Hola buen trabajo los cultivos son orgánicos?? o con fertilizantes 😊 suscríbete al canal
I use chicken manure pellets ,well rotted horse manure ,nettle and seaweed fertiliser both homemade and a powdered tomato feed and on occasion super phosphate ,plus I make my own compost from all green, veg and rabbit bedding waste with card as my brown waste
😂😂 they are unruly aren’t they I am constantly tying mine up 🤦♀️. Definitely lots of maintenance jobs to do at this time of year. Amazing how tall the grass grows with some good weather. Great update Sarah have a simply wonderful weekend, Ali 🌞🥵🇨🇦
Harvest not hardest!!😂
😆😆
Beautiful sweet peas Sarah. A nice hardest too.💖
Coucou Formidable vidéo À bientôt
Everything is going strong well done . My sunflowers are dire I’m embarrassed by them . With only a few days if sun it’s just not been enough
Wow! Everything has really taken off! I’m quite envious of all your brassicas. I did have a whole bed full but the fox decided to rip out every. Single. Plant!!!😒😅 He also has a problem with the lettuce 🤷🏻♀️
Oh no that's not good , do you have them netted ? . Foxes are lovely, but my word they can cause destruction x
@@Sarahlottie94 He left me an old sock this morning!😆 They were netted in a tent shape cage I tried to make from bamboo canes but he got in through a gap in the net and went ape by the look of it😒 Its my first year so lessons are definitely being learnt!!😅 x
Wow
Ps my yard long are shite too 🤬
I thought they would grow brilliant where I had put them but guess not ,the ones I have sown at home in pots are amazing and are way bigger and it's only been a couple of weeks ,this veg growing at times makes no sense x
That cabbage looks tremendous!
Sadly my sunflowers 🌻 don’t need stales 😂. We have been blessed with a few days of rain which gave me a reprieve, but now the suns back and it’s hot again 🤦♀️. Maintenance is the name of the game come June/July. Have a super weekend Sarah, Ali 🌞☔️🇨🇦
Oh I’m so gutted about my sunflowers after so much bragging about last years this years have just not had the weather … it’s an embarrassing show of tiny seedlings !!!!
@sarahsallotmentjourney oh no ,it's awful when we try so hard but fail. fingers crossed next year, you will be full sunflower power
@@Sarahlottie94 I will never direct Sow them again thinking the sun will go it’s job when in fact the sun didn’t turn up for work
Well done Sarah everything looks great.💖
sound not very good
You trolling me as it sounds okay on my ,pc,tv and phone 😊
Peppers and chilli’s look great
Some of the chillies are extremely blow your head off hot but delish too
I would chop it off 😅but i know nothing about tay berries
To be honest I'm winging it lol
Sorry to hear you are dealing with that, Sarah. That must really suck😕 I hope the garden and allotment help with your stress so you don’t get too many symptoms 🙏🏼 I’m really intrigued about what kind of scientist you are! What a cool job to have! Can’t believe you had hail!!! We’ve had a few hot days 18degrees😆😆 down here so I have a nice farmers tan now😅
I honestly don't try to let it bother me iv embrace it and wear it like a badge life's to short to worry about things that are only minor a inconvenience . I worked in histology and cytology for many many years but in recent years I have had a change and now the senoir science tech in a secondary school which I love doing ,love a farmers tan 😀 I'm hoping to get one myself
@@Sarahlottie94 Wow! I bet the histology and cytology was really interesting! Wish I’d paid more attention at school but that’s great that you have a job you love🤓
Ya know what, Sarah? I'm between 50 and 60 years of age (closer to 60) and I don't know about you, but I don't rush to a channel when an upload appears. I save the best for last. Your channel is the last one I watch.
It’s 32c here so as much as rain is a pain so is too hot 🥵. I hadn’t noticed Sarah but thank you for the explanation. I’ll trade you a wee bit of rain for my heat 🙏. Hope it clears up soon and you can enjoy the plot a bit more, Ali 🥵🌞🇨🇦
I'm not sure. I would want 32c, but it looks like here in the UK, we are heading up to the high20s this coming week, so it's going to get hot and knowing our weather it will probably be only a week of sun then back to rain 🌧 😀
💖looks yummy.x
That’s a nice harvest!🤓 Interested to see how your Crystal Apple does outside. Mines still in greenhouse coz even down here on south coast it’s barely reaching 20😕 I feel your pain on the pigeons. Been trying to find ways to keep the greedy bloody pigs off the bird feeders but they are relentless! Just hope no one is watching when I’m shaking a bamboo cane in their direction telling them to ‘Bugger OFF!’😆😆😅
It's been bloody freezing here in the Midlands so not hold out much hope on the cucumbers,I was sick of seeing them in the green house so thought bugger it they can go out it's June after all lol 😆
@@Sarahlottie94 😆😆 Exactly! Grow or don’t 🤷🏻♀️ Not going to nursemaid them all! There’s still eleventymillion other seedlings ready to take their place if they don’t toughen up🤨
Eleventymillion is definitely a new word I will be using. It properly made me giggle
Greetings from malta lovely video ❤
Love your garden you are so georgous ❤ love seeing you do yo thang mmm
It's been so wet I also harvested my garlic early as I was worried about white rot, but luckily dodged it. Waiting to harvest my autumn sown onions and fingers crossed for that. Jo Devon 🙂
thank you God Bless from North Wales
Same to you 😁
I think I prefer 'dibbler' 😀😀😁😁
Me too 😁
