Today we did an oil change on the mk8 Gti, My first oil change ever. Very proud of myself and it was not too hard i reccommend to everyone to do this on their own!

On a VW with their top mounted oil filters is so much easier to just get a fluid extractor and you don't need to even get under the car.

Not at all you can’t really hear it over 40 miles per hour

What they don't tell you is the many engine failures of the BMW s1000rr engine and the fact that BMW will not cover damages. google is your friend so be for warned before you even think about buying this bike.

I dont know if you know this, but when you turn it off while leaving it in Sport mode, you gotta reselect or cycle between the modes again to reactivate the Pops/Bangs It “resets”/disables. Am a little suspicious since the car should throw pops and bangs relatively quickly
Yeah i did notice that! it’s kinda weird but i usually alwasy have to put it to comfort then back to sport for it to work

I put the Milltek Exhaust on mine this past week and damn is this thing loud, backfires are insane, cold air intake goes on tomorrow. Love the color of your I was between that and white. But ultimately snagged a 40th in Tornado Red.
It’s not loud at all! i’m thinking about getting a muffler delete too! it’s too quiet for my opinion

Definitely weighted shift knob is a requirement. Get rid of the clutch delay valve. And maybe do a short throw shift set up. What do you plan on doing power wise?
I wanted to do Cold air intake and blow off valve before i started doing other stuff but def want a down pipe and tune too. Wasn’t thinking too much about changing the shifter why do you say i should?
@@Nicolas_Pardo Stock shifter is a little sloppy in terms of crisp gear changes. Affects pretty much nothing in the long term but short throw shifter arms can make it feel absolutely amazing. The install isn't bad either very easily DIY able can probably knock it out in like an hour. Just a good mod to do to make the car feel a little more boy racer XD

Nice car man! I wanted to give you a little information about your new to you GTI! As you said this is a 2022 GTI Autobahn, this color is called Pomelo Yellow. It is one of 700 Launch edition GTI's they made for the MK8 in the US, all of which are this same color! The ONLY other time you will see this color is on the 2023 40th anniversary GTI which was a limited production of 1500 total (250 in yellow, 250 white, 500 red, 500 grey. All those colors are spit 50/50 manual and automatic). I Personally have a 2023 Manual 40th in Pomelo Yellow.
I'm gonna be picking up a white 40th next week. 6 speed proper. It was that or a 40ae pomelo, but that dealership can't decide if it's sold or not. Coming from a 21 GLI 6spd. Is yours manual or dsg and how do you like the dsg if that's your poison? 😅

@@Nicolas_Pardo Damn man, first owners usually kind of suck and keep all the vin specific accessories when they sell the car. Definitely feel like I'm safe in assuming they were enthusiast that wanted the whole experience passed along to (you) the next owner!
@@TheStonedAge I know! i was surprised in how good the condition of the car is! and what’s even crazier is it had two owners before me one barely drove it and the other did most of the miles on it. Also it was a pain to get this car there was like 3 other people trying to obtain it and i got lucky enough to get it before them
@@TheStonedAge mine is manual. That's awesome! Manual white 40th is 1/125 as well considering the split!
