Half Life: Opposing Force Glitch
Просмотров 1,7 тыс.11 лет назад
The defeat of the final boss in Half Life: Opposing Force, but Shephard is never teleported out of the chamber. I have already nearly killed the boss, that is why it only took one shot to kill in the video. If anyone has any suggestions on how to solve this problem or if anyone has the same problem, feel free to comment down below.
35:05 - Paint the man cut the lines...
35:20 (mockingly) please, I didn't do anything! Meh meh meh!
Great writing, great performances. Gameplay aside Frictional really nails horror
He set a man on F I R E
Well. Daniel is a monster. This isn't explained very well in the game until you get to the final stretch.

I’m watching this while I’m about to go to sleep a lot of time
Thank you so much for uploading this, glad i can revisit this game and see only the story without having to shit myself and bang my head against a wall to remember the puzzles.
His voice is one the most amazing one I've heard
My ASMR every night
and here I thought I'm the only one
Haven't played this game for yeaaarrrs. I randomly remembered "it lies beneath the very stone of brennenburg", and I had to hear it again for real. 6:48 ended a 20 minute search. Thanks lol.
It's crazy how small things like that just pop in your mind out of nowhere. Amnesia had a lot of those awesome little moments/lines that keep me coming back to videos like this.
H e S e T a M a N o N f I r E
I’ve played a lot of games and watched a bunch of horror movies. This game is just perfect. The story, the environment, the music are amazing. Each time I play this game, I still get scared, especially the prison.
Flashback,when you enter a bed room lord Alexander"oh yes faster Daniel...faster...faster....faster.......FASTER.......OH......YEAH... THAT'S IT, THAT'S IT...aaaahhh"
ayo wtf?
@@celeb-seventeenyeah..don't ask...
There is a Glitch that, If you die you teleport to Half-Life 1 Anomalous Materials.
Alexander: Right, now how to manipulate this one, so he won't throw the orb away, or get me killed by the Shadow following him. Daniel: Water is for drinking. Daniel: Are there dead men in the morgue? Alexander: Nevermind, he's sharp as a brick.
- are you hiding something? - what do you mean? - nevermind xd
“Ohh the scenery around your spooky castle is lovely 🥰”
IQ: Daniel
"I feel that my memory will fail me if i linger" How'd that work out, Danny?
I love this collection of dialogues you pieced togheter! The only ones i think your missing are the one where Alexander and Daniel talk about the shadow that is gonna attack the castle and discussed what places should be fortified and the one where Alexander urges Daniel to go back and that hes carrying the shadow with him.
Why is it so dark?! Stfu Daniel
31:23 League of Legends players
😂
14:30 my mind thinking something else and something is rising, I need help
Bro?🤨
18:35 bro what the hell
2:84 it's fun to have a soundtrack in I believe Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs called "The Tomb of Tin Hinan" (or however you spell it
Is it me or does Daniel sound like he was voiced by James May from Top Gear?
“Please, I didn’t do anything! MyEh MyEh MyEh!” Gets me every time. Daniel is awesome.
What bit was this?
@@jaykdos9521 At about 35:19, when past Daniel is going all crazy and hysterical.

If You Go To 6:58 Thats A Flashback of how the Grunt was made One of the Amnesia Monsters
35:20 best voice acting I’ve ever heard holy shit
0:35 I’ve never heard of anyone saying “I am Daniel” with so much passion
IT'S NOT FAIR!
Moron
"I did well! One life for another! You hear me, guardian of the orb? I did all this...for you! Now, withdraw your shadow from my domain!"
I think it's implied that Wilhelm and his men are the gatherers
No. Only one type of Servants or Gatherers are Wilhelm and his men. Or at least some of Them are The brutes instead are described as Servants too but Its not revealed if they arent Gatherers too and where they come from. There look is the same one as victimes of the shadow looks like. So Its never dissolved if they are puppets of the shadow ( what wouldnt make sense and Also the shadow isnt intendet to kill Daniel) or if they are Servants of Alexander
@@leonreidenbach7106They're literally Alexander's Ghouls.
14:30 that was straight fucked up in my opinion
That's the whole point of the story. Alexander took advantage of a terrified Daniel to turn him into an absolute monster; then once Daniel actually realized what he had done was not only barbaric and inhuman, but all for NOTHING (Since Alexander was never going to stop the Shadow, he was just using Daniel as a sacrificial tool to use the Orb to get back to his home dimension), he took the amnesiac drug because the overwhelming guilt and disgust he felt towards himself.
LIKE A DUNGEON!?
Sleep........
It lies beneath the very STONE of BRENNENBURG.
Every flashback to do with the prisoners and murder victims is heartbreaking along with some diary entries,
so much better than Amnesia Rebirth!!
14:54 "So, you have ridden an elevator before? You know the Door Close button doesn't do anything and is only there to humor you, right?" *insanity meter skyrockets*
14:51
I can't believe it took me a full 8 years to realize that Alexander most likely came from the underworld, or something similar. It would explain a lot, and is (bluntly) hinted at in a flashback 30:45
He came from the world that is explored in Amnesia Rebirth
@@sync5043 That's true, and I didn't know it when I wrote my comment. Though I'd still say that his world has a lot of parallels with 'the other side'
@@sync5043 He actually came from a different world, he got banished from his home and fled to the world in Rebirth where he was essentially banished again
@@leadpencil-223 as mentioned in a scroll in the otherworld, his name was Ayandra who was banished for heinous crimes, and when said crimes became known to the other civilization that accepted him, he was banished again and sent to earth
@@whysoserious286 Some speculate that he was the scapegoat for his discovery of Amnesia, the formula that got him accepted into the second civilisation. The extreme torture necessary to produce it may still have been too unsettling to the public, so the government, in a problematic position and with a perfect scapegoat, banished the villain, and kept his formula and practices. My preference for this history relies on Alexander's ability to retain a near-perfect image in the public eye, but for his homo-apathetic and discreet pursuit for science and the inter-global travel industry.
"They are dead because of me!"
41:42 what kind of music in the background?
It is an event background music, it's called paper - daniel 17.
I still can't tell what sounds more genius: the writing or the voice? When both blend in, you basically get a story that will stick in your brain until your grave and beyond.
*_i m p o s s i b l e g e o m e t r y_*
And the lesson here is? Don't be a fucking thief lol
Man it’s so nice to just listen to this at night it’s so pleasant if this is the right word
This game is just perfection
Reedem us both Daniel. Descend into the darkness where Alexander waits and murder him.
Daniel’s ending somehow feels like the worst ending. Daniel learned nothing and suffered no consequence. He felt content killing off someone he deemed worse than himself, something that he was doing before and that turned him into a psychopathic murderer. He continues to make excuses he kept making - “I may be bad, but they’re worse. They deserve to die instead of me.”
The Shadow spared him and allowed him to escape. Knowing that the universe itself forgives his sins, he understands he has redeemed himself with his courage and bravery. Maybe he says those things because he still feels guilty for the atrocities he made and is trying to convince and comfort himself (as always, lol).
Niv 'Mohnd So what? Daniel didn’t change. The diaries say that he killed others to save his own skin and justified himself saying that they’re worse people than him. Then, he proceeds to kill off Alexander, another person he thinks is worse than him, to save his own skin. He didn’t redeem himself, he simply survived.
@@cjv8522 If an horrifying omniscient cosmic entity doesn't kill you after all the awful shit you've done, manipulated, but does kill the man next to you, how would you call it? He was justifying his victims as criminals because he was desperate and terrified of the Shadow, but you can see how much he _regretted_ everything after killing the little girl and going back to his senses. In the dairies you can read how humiliated and disgusted he was feeling. He got punished for it and payed the price by facing the horrors of the castle, his personal purgatory. Please tell me you understand what I'm trying to say.
@Commander Maro That's an interesting way to look at it, but I still think the special ending is the best one. Come to think of it, Daniel both got his revenge and redeemed himself by letting the Shadow consuming him, all to help Agrippa to reunite with Weyer. Weyer, as we've heard, tamed the Shadow somehow and accumulated a collection of Orbs without being hunted by it, meaning the Shadow can distinguish the good and evil in people's hearts. Basically, Daniel was deemed "unworthy" or "evil" by the Shadow up until he gets his revenge in the Daniel ending. By helping Agrippa, he and Weyer will forever be grateful to Daniel and will eventually free Daniel from the Shadow, transcending his existence. Edit: Agrippa was chained up by Alexander ever since Weyer passed the portal, so it's likely that Agrippa acknowledged Alexander's deeds but he can't interfere, or he just didn't care at all. Also, it seems that the Shadow only hunted those who abuses or broke the Orbs, that's why Agrippa, Weyer and Mandus wasn't on the list.
@Commander Maro Never a bad Person? He killed and tortured people just to get away from the shadow. The pure ironie ist, that the shadow never would have killed him if he didnt traveled to Alexander and experimented On the orbs. Well it wasnt leaked of Agrippa and Weyer tortured people alongside Alexander.
This is fun to watch in an August, happy anniversary Daniel!
