De Braakmolen is a flour mill in the town of Goor in the province of Overijssel. The mill grinds weekly thanks to some volunteer millers.
The mill was built in 1856 with parts from several other mills: the Jobbega mill from Goor, an oil mill from Westland and the Stoevelaarsmolen (post mill) from Goor. The joints consist of almost unprocessed tree trunks. In 1882 the mill is bought by the miller's son W.A. Otte. In 1915, the owner also bought a steam mill on Middenstraat, which he moved to in 1920. As a result of the use of this engine power, the mill came out of operation in 1923. In the Depression years, government rye is milled for animal feed between 1933 and ...
