@@eggswithrice Currently, this is all through the injector. As for multiplayer mods being available on the mod portal, we don't know when/if that will happen, but it is certainly something we would love to do if multiplayer support comes around.

Thanks man, yeah that Celestial round was wild. He won the red armor pickup, meaning he would take less damage for 10 seconds, so I had to play defensively. I'm so glad the soul sphere was there under the red bridge, or else I probably would've been toast, lol. And yeah, the glory kill didn't work for him for some reason on Corrosion. DOOM Eternal things, lmao.

Nevermind, just tried it. Actually not bad. Does get somewhat annoying when some shots don't register though.

Slayer vs Slayer took a lot of time to design and develop, and we certainly took a lot of inspiration from quake in terms of controlling pickups, positioning, and weapon utility. But we also wanted Slayer vs Slayer to stand on it's own and feel unique instead of just designing a quake duel all over again in Eternal. But I definitely highly recommend giving this a try, it's really engaging and fun.

Nah, don't say that. This mode has a good number of players with a variety of skill levels. This is just a showcase of top-level games. It doesn't represent the entire multiplayer scene. I'd say definitely give it a shot.

@@SaverioStyle I just meant toned down in comparison to doom eternal, I quite frankly don’t remember if they had toned down the movement in 2016’s multiplayer or not from its single player . But I’ve just been playing a lot of classic doom 1/2 multiplayer, and was thinking what could have been of a more “grounded” modern doom. That said this does look sick.

@CHANGEUSERNAMEr6 So you've played it before then? And I mean, it can be casual, but these are some top level matches you're watching. Slayer vs Slayer can be very hard core if you're looking for that. And boring? Idk why you feel that way, but the sheer depth and actions per minute with things like the movement, combat, and strategic map positioning within this mode make it far from boring for me. This is peak dueling next to Quake in my opinion. Kinda confused by what you mean lol. It's not like you're watching lame ass mindless call of duty gameplay. This is a dynamic and new arena FPS duel mode.

@@SaverioStyle Yea, closed this game on 100%, got bored by gameplay and battle mod, afps is about your style and game knowledge, it feels weird to doom. Like its more quake, than doom, even map feels like just an arena without any trick depth. Im cpma/ut player, and i prefer more classic stylish afps. Forgive me my English
