'Translating Poetry: The Impossible Art?': Part 2: Debate
YT English auto-cc attempts at deciphering Farsi language are hilarious, some kind of harmless fluent aphasia foretaste.
Omar Khayyam was class-fellow of Hassan Bin Sabah (leader of hasheeshayn or assassins). Perhaps, it is a legend and not a fact.
😍
Iranians have enjoyed a long cultural continuity, something that distinguishes them from other Middle Eastern neighbors. Khayyam's presence in Iranian landmarks not only serves as a reminder of his remarkable achievements but also fosters a sense of national pride among Iranians
gives us more information about the life of Fitzgerald, the white translator, than it does about Omar Khayyam, the original poet
You using the term "white" gives us a lot of information about your warped mind as well
"And do you think that unto such as you, a maggot-minded, starved, fanatic crew, God gave the Secret, and denied it me? Well, well, what matters it! believe that too." Omar Khayyam

I don't know, my Lord, what was your intention when you created me, Have you given me heaven or hell? A glass, a beautiful, an instrument and a green grass Let these be mine, and heaven is yours on credit.

Ovid, the deceiver. Perfect conditioning for human-AI interaction.
This was wonderful! I remember, when I was a child, my father reciting Omar Khayyam's poetry, which I read more of as an adult. Decades later, I studied his theory of parallels as preparation for My MSc dissertation on non-Euclidean geometry. Khayyam's work was part of the intellectual framework which enabled the construction of the concept of space-time, and hence Relativity.
