Bharat Rural Livelihoods Foundation BRLF

Bharat Rural Livelihoods Foundation (BRLF) was set up by the Government of India as an independent society under the Ministry of Rural Development, to scale up civil society action in partnership with the central and state governments. The principal objective of BRLF is to empower rural India, ameliorating the lives of its impoverished populace, particularly the Adivasi Community and strengthening their confidence in the Government and Indian democracy, in coordination with CSOs, Government of India and various state Governments.
Unless otherwise authorized in writing, nobody could use, copy, reproduce, modify, publicly perform or display, create derivative works of, sell, auction, loan, lease, rent, distribute, transfer or disclose all or any part/content of BRLF social media channels (including, without limitation, any screenshots, videos, documentation or manuals relating to the social media channels).

Weaving a Better Future Through Sericulture
Assam has been famous for producing high-quality silk for centuries, with unique varieties like Muga, Eri, and Mulberry silk. However, the silk industry faces several challenges today, such as low productivity, lack of infrastructure, insufficient research and development and limited market access.
To support the growth of the sericulture sector and help local silk farmers and handloom weavers improve their livelihoods, BRLF is working in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) of Assam. This video showcases our efforts on the ground, made possible with the help of our partner @theanttheactionnortheasttr7927.
