me too, its a very overlooked game for immersion imo

i really want to make more but my community posts have addressed a bit of the setbacks of being able to make more currently. once i get a squad of ppl to play with there will 100% be more. for now im rlly glad youre enjoying though!

i think helldivers also lends itself to being a comforting sort of game when no action is going on, which is also nice af for these rp vids where u need still calm between storms. glad you liked it man, episode 2 is long as hell if you’re looking for more🙏

that’s because we’re not voice acting right now, i’m the only one with any actual recorded lines he’s quite literally just playing the game. i like the immersive stuff but larping while playing sometimes just isn’t effective either sadly, sometimes if i have a realistic milsim line planned we have to full halt gameplay for it to actually fit into the stream of events happening. if i could control the gameplay and actually create an immersive story with the AI, i’d 100% do this, but i can’t, and my homie honestly don’t wanna larp either he just wants to play, so we just chill. all i’m really doing is converting normal gameplay into a cinematic experience, which definitely does MAJORLY limit the immersion on my episodes but i’m trying super hard to get us to the level that i wanna be at, im working on custom armor models for my character and smuth both to go with character lore for extra immersion, and just in general i’ve been thinking and working a lot behind the scenes in ways i wish y’all could see, maybe i’ll drop a WIP community post so you guys don’t feel like i’m leaving you in the dark! i hope i don’t sound like an asshole either, i’ve edited my message like 4 times because i wanna get across the right words but not come across like a douche. thanks man, you’re awesome!

@@Blazeslayer394 one thing i ain't gonna do is lie to y'all, i know there's a ton of room for improvement, and i won't make excuses for that, i'll just give you the reasons straight up instead! and, at the end of the day this isn't my job either, i don't make money from my videos, and i don't plan to. this is just my hobby, that i truly do enjoy doing, so i'm never gonna skew the truth for the benefit of anyone. ODST is a community project, and always will be. it can't be what we all want it to be without the peeps making it into that! the main halting factor for the series rn is my modding skills. they're terrible. i've got the models for the armor and everything, but actually porting them into helldivers 2, thats a lot harder, but i dont wanna produce episode 3 if i dont have the finished, lore accurate armor sets to be shown to you all, so im at a bit of a stuck point right now. trying to learn from some more skilled members of the community how to mod so i can port those files into the game, but the second that happens, and the second i get an ODST squad together, we're absolutely golden.

@@puthenveetilnoel i like more voice lines and immersive stuff like that, and i want a bigger team but it’s legit just a homie problem. i don’t have friends that i play the game with other than smuth (the other one featured) and he doesn’t larp or do any of the immersive voiceline stuff he just plays, which is where my job comes in trying to make everything immersive for you guys. id love to have other people that were ODSTs in the squad at a later point, but i just don’t have the connections or peeps for that currently. i totally want the same things as you, i just don’t got the means to get there with the people i’ve got right now, but i hope with building a community i can get there one day!

man i was hoping you wouldnt watch the vid until the 4k upload is fixed lmfao, its uploading rn just slow as hell. no clue why this one didnt upload in HD, but its alright, new will be up soon! Anyways, i really really hope for a modern AC at some point even though we have watch dogs. i love both, but the vertical traversal and just general climbing aspect is so much more expansive in AC. Watch dogs is more about parkour over climbing, which is badass too, but i want some modern AC, climbing urban buildings, blending in, maybe even some david fincher "the killer" action with stalking and surveying targets while remaining unseen beforehand. Trying to simulate that experience as close as i can here with my vids for y'all, but if ubisoft wanted to make some actual money they'd listen to fans and just take the best of AC, and the best of watch dogs mash em and watch the profits pour in. until then, we just gotta do this, and replay those few surface level missions in AC3 with desmond lmao. @@koollyafterall ubisofts biggest problem is not listening to what fans want. They have some of the greatest titles in gaming with all the Tom Clancy games, AC, Watchdogs. So many great games, but then they go and turn them all into RPGs and remove great features and this and that. Anyways, take it easy man, keep enjoying your holiday and keep dunking on Ubisoft lol.

its from the same modpack as the all other armors used, its a variant added when you add Mickey's set. Since some of the armor shares models, this one replaces parts of the sleeveless armor and i liked it a lot for my character! glad you're enjoying so far, it'll only get better

i too write stories, and thats the main basis of why i started making videos, to be able to tell those stories! i'm glad you're liking it, always nice to see someone that shares interests too, as nearly every idea i have starts as a written story. not doing something wrong persay, but thinking wrong! no shaders needed for the toggle HUD. Helldivers 2 actually has an in game one that you can bind yourself, it’s just not bound by default! don’t worry about fooling with reshade for anything except for the VISR, then you’re good to go! i hope you enjoy playing🙏

you’ll be alright, i’ve played for 100 hours and i’m all good so far. if you don’t wanna then that’s all up to you, but i don’t think arrowhead is worried about it, since if anything it gives you a disadvantage in playing because of hitboxes
