@@OmnicientWolfGaming Thanks for the clarification and response, I have heard it defined as an arcade shooter before due to the fact you can't aim down sights but it seems like that could be an incorrect defintion.

@Danlyrical No worries, I don't think there's necessarily a clear cut definition of an arcade shooter. It's typically a case of how much a game leans into realism or not, as well as what other elements there are in a game (like killstreaks, hero abilities, etc.)

Ahh, unfortunate. I think a good medium would have been "loose" SBMM, cause to be honest, being able to have a variety of games was nice. That's what I liked about no SBMM - matchmaking was generally quicker, and games were varied. Sometimes you steamrolled, sometimes you had sweaty matches, and other times you were the one that got steamrolled.

I know it had a rocky launch, but it turned around pretty quickly tbh.

Hey there! That's very strange, is it a buzzing sound or is it a weird buzzing constant vibration? Either way, try turning off vibration completely in the Flydigi Spacestation app to see if that helps. Regardless, sounds like something might be wrong with your controller and you might want to consider exchanging it.

@@OmnicientWolfGaming Hi, thanks for the feedback) I tormented the gamepad for a long time, but in the end it helped to reset it to factory settings and calibrate, the strong characteristic buzzing disappeared, if anyone else needs it, this advice can help.

What's the file extension of your file? Make sure it's MP4 and you should be good. In this video, I have mkv as the recording format, but I have since changed to hybrid mp4.

@@deli0n444 Hmm, I'll have to go back and retest. You can set EQ switch on the custom button, but as far as I recall, still requires iCUE to be open. Honestly, the whole sound profile out of the box sounds good to me.

There is some form of it if you pick up the power up for it, but none here 😅

@@chaitanyakumar5699 Although my setup levered VSTs, there's a lot of built-in plugins that you can use :) And for your reference, only Elgato microphones or microphones plugged into the Wave XLR would show up on the Wave Link app, so rest assured that your laptop's mic is not being captured 😃 That being said, make sure to select Wave FX Microphone as your input source in apps and generally, as your windows default input device. Hope that helps!

@@OmnicientWolfGaming Yeah, the TTK in xDefiant was also better, you actually had to gunfight players in it. Oh well, I guess we're back to paying $80 a year for 100GB CoD games that only high end computers can even play, whilst they recycle old maps you already owned into the new games 🤢 CoD's trump card is that score-streaks are an addictive reward for your good gameplay, so players walk away satisfied when they perform well. xDefiant was missing that aspect. Candy for the brain.

Strange! I can't say I've tried streaming to Twitch via Xbox, but that's frustrating to hear. Wonder why that is.

@ Yeah, it’s super strange. I even found a thread on Razer’s support website, people having the same complaint 6 months ago with no solution. I could make for a great video. Warning others not to purchase this headset if they want to stream. You would think this would be THE headset for xbox streamers

That's part of what appealed to me in that it was more of a "back-to-basics" style FPS similar to COD4, but with the abilities/hero twist 😅 But you're not wrong, it didn't do anything revolutionary in the space outside of no SBMM.

It's crazy just how much they've left us with, and how much we likely won't ever see!

My pleasure! If you want to reduce the recording file size, raise the CQ level. The higher the CQ level, the lower the quality, and hence, lower the file size. Just have to mess around to see what looks good to you for the file size that you're getting. Hope that helps!

That's a mistake on me. I misconstrued the percentage meter on the bottom right as my volume level XD Sorry about that! It does give you an audio indication when it gets lower as far as I know.

@ Gotcha. Thank you for the follow up. I had just received the headset yesterday so I was wondering if I missed something :) I read through the manual again after you made that comment and didn’t see anything in there regarding battery level - except for audio indication that you mentioned. I know you also said you didn’t load the Razer app on your PC. That was what I was really hoping to see because I do have the app but it does not detect the headset within the PC app no matter what I do (this includes connecting headset to my PC via Bluetooth, connecting headset to my PC using the dongle set to USB and connecting headset to my PC using dongle set to Xbox and also connecting headset to my pc via wire). It was confirmed with Razer that Synapse cannot be used for the BlackShark V2 Pro Xbox model which is odd. I am able to use the Razer app on my Xbox and change the settings there. I set a custom EQ and it does appear that custom EQ does stay present on the headset when using it on PC. My PC has no issues in using the headset, I just can’t make any changes on the PC - I must do those on Xbox. Anyways, those were my findings. Thanks again for the follow up!

@@paulblaszkowiak9105 Interesting! Yeah, I believe you might be right in that the Synapse app does not detect the headset. In fact, I remember reading somewhere that there was a different Razer app that you needed to use for the headset? Not sure if I'm misremembering or not. Good thing is if you have a Dolby Atmos license, you can use the EQ on there to apply on the headset, but looks like you have a workaround figured out.

@@OmnicientWolfGaming I do have the Dolby Atmos app. Here is what I **believe** I have found.... I set a Custom profile on Xbox using Razer audio app for Xbox. Just a smiley pattern. As I was saying earlier, Razer says to use the same app name on PC but that app does not detect the headset (others on Reddit have said the same). I notice on both Xbox and PC when pressing the BlackShark physical button to change Profiles that my smiley custom profile is getting loaded. Now on the Dolby PC app I also created a basic smiley curve under "Custom". I then have to select Dolby for my Spatial Audio in Windows. Now when I press the physical button to change profiles on the BlackShark headset and I get to the Custom profile - this appears to be the Dolby smiley as it's noticeably punchier than the similar profile I set on the Razer app for Xbox. Then if I toggle Spatial Audio off in Windows, it appears to go back to my custom Xbox smiley profile. That's what it seems like to me anyways. Frustrating that companies will not document things like this. And that's not exclusive to Razer - it seems like every headset manufacturer makes you do all kinds of trial and error to get the most out of their products.
