It doesn’t show values when I copy and paste cells. The position of the information is crucial on the spreadsheet I’m using. I’m trying to track when users move values from one cell to another. If it’s deleted and typed in manually it works, but everyone copy and pastes

Thank you! This was a huge help for me. I had found some other code that I couldn't get to work. This gave me exactly what I need. I'm going about it a little bit differently in that I have a specific folder and I need to go through that folder file by file. If the file name is the one I'm looking for then I import the CSV as a new sheet and give it a specific name. Works perfectly!

Based on the title, I was hoping to see how to create dropdowns (not multiple choice questions) and that would change based on a previous question's answer. This tutorial, while a good one for what it does, does nothing except for updating questions if you adjust the baseline spreadsheet. The creation of sections and options can be done within Google Forms. This would be useful is you are constantly updating a spreadsheet of values that then feeds into the form. If you do get to where you can answer a question in section 1 for instance and that answer changes the options in the questions in section 2 and you don't need different sections for different options in question 1, I would MOST DEFINITELY use that script.

I've just sat and watched all your videos it a whole new world as I have very limited skills when I comes to this. I want to start a small business up is there a way I could use your template on your stock or inventory management system and use barcodes just like you used QR codes. So I could just scan the barcode and it pops up on my system instead of manually selecting it. Also what app do you use on your phone to scan QR code? keep up the good work

Hi, congratulations, very interesting video, I've been following you for quite some time. It would be nice in addition to this work to understand how to create a report using the form data as if it were a database of responses. Example: a sheet that shows graphs and KPIs filtering the name of the person whose data is taken directly from the form responses. The report will also have to manage duplicate submissions on different dates in order to show the various improvements in the report. I hope I was clear, it would really be a great idea.

Using this technique, can you have the use lookup a user name and password before they are allowed to submit the Form?

Is there a way to have the popup appear when you switch view to a specific sheet? I don't want it to popup right on open. Example: Show popup when user clicks Revenue sheet.

May I ask? What if it displays #REF! importrange internal error? Is it because of slow internet or because the source sheet is too big and is constantly changing the number of sheets since it is used by the whole department?

Hey. I have never done any coding before i did this. Thank you so mutch for the tutorial. I have manage to get most to work, my only problom is that i cant get it to function unless i hit run in apps scripts. Meaning when i close the file and open it again, its still not password protected. I cant see any mistake in my coding. Any ideas? what did i miss?
