One thing I can't understand is why Chad sounds so disgusting now, the early recordings were very cool.

I wish the sound was better on this video but it was 1997 and recorded with a potato so I’m not complaining. This Nickleback kicked ass. Then they decided marketing and money was more important. I can’t blame them but it does make me sad.

i see so many people say they are either terrible or worst now than they used to be. well i mean think about it everyone there are two things you can choose to do you can choose to sit back and just do what you wanna do and sure you may make it somewhere and keep going but nickelback understands that their band is a business and have figured out a way to be successful with it. i think wether they did something wrong later in their career or not or changed bla bla bla shit their doing what they love and making a living out of it just like how i would like to do so who cares really. its all about what makes you happy really.
