how do you record your vocals?
Ive been recording on Presonus Studio One for years for my own personal music. Its just a hobby at this point. I do a totally diff genre/style of music but maybe I could give you some pointers to clean the vocals up. Unless thats the sound youre going for, which i totally respect.
This album was all about freestyles, I did the song in one take no lyrics written or traditional song structures. I recorded my vocals into my phone and then used an audio isolator to remove the beat. Then I took the beat and the vocals and mixed and mastered it. I totally understand why people would think it sounds rather unprofessional, especially compared to my other stuff recorded with a mic and mixed and mastered. I know how to get the sound, but this album was just supposed to be raw. Why didn't I just post the m4a voice memo? Because I wanted to make something. I'll be back at it with a mic next album, I just wanted to avoid the anxiety I get recording into a mic for a change.

I actually went to school on Grandville Island back in 2016. I always wanted to climb those cement pillars, but they just weren't tall enough! My advice to you would be live it up while you still can because life is a mother fucker.

@@tadthatkid This is the Niagara creek trestle which is all gated off with barb wire since there were several su*cides, there might be a hole cut in the fence I'm not sure, but 15 minutes north up the tracks takes you to the Arbutus creek trestle which not many people go to so it's fair game. Me and my buddies go there every couple weeks for highlining
What do you do with these beautiful pieces of history? This bridge was manufactured in England and test assembled there. It was then dissassembled an shiped here where it was erected overthe Cisco river. When it was replaced it was again dissembled and moved to it's current location. And now it just sits. But what to do with it? I have some basic engineering drawings of this bridge and have started working on a brass model. The video will help me see details.
I really hope they just rip up the tracks and make a beautiful hiking and biking trail along the corridor, it is a shame seeing these feats of engineering completely abandoned
