Hello, welcome to my channel! My name is Abigail. I’m an Orthodox Christian living in Utah.
I started this channel in late March of 2023. My goal is to spread the beautiful chants and hymns of the Orthodox Church, and read our beautiful and life giving prayers and spiritual readings.
With your help, I want to create a beautiful and prayerful community of people who love and want to sing the Lords praises and glorify him through prayer together, and who encourage each other lovingly, no matter what place we are in or what trials we are facing.
I hope through this journey of prayer, we can all grow in the Lord with and each other.

Is this the Kazan setting?
No, I don’t think so! I could be wrong, though. It’s by a Deacon (then priest) Matthew, if memory serves me correctly.
Oooo that's somebody I hadn't heard of yet 🤓 It does seem to be a modified version of the Kazan setting. Do you have the score, or is it online somewhere?
Yes, it’s on the Antiochian Archdiocese website, if you search for the canon of the akathist. To be honest, a majority of what I post is by memory, but this one does have a score.
I actually needed a good recording to train for Orthros!
