Island hopping Oslo
Two superb days in the Oslo fjord, to Gressholmen and Langøyene islands,
stopping at numerous other island on the way. Electric boat; smooth,
and fast. Great swimming, and the best beach in the fjord at Langøyene!

We left all the reindeer and drove nearly 2000 kms in 2 days through Finland and Sweden to south east Norway.

During my stay in Skaidi we went to Hammerfest, I cycled to Olderfjord and Brennsvik and walked up to a mountain lake. Fantastic scenery everywhere and good weather!

I cycled from Skaidi in Finnmark, northern Norway, to Kvaløya Many whales in the ocean there. Then along the east coast to Storbukt (Big Bay), home to Coastal Sami. Then to and sacrificial rock, where the Sami used to pray. To far to Hammerfest,so back to Skaidi late afternoon. Shower in a superb waterfall, before Sami dinner at my friend's uncle's house; Buljong!

Going to the beach in Bygdøy, Oslo

July 19 I took the boat from City Hall Pier to Bygdøynes,and walked to Hukodden beach for swimming! A few days earlier I walked from Skøyen train station to Bygdøy Sjøbad, Paradisbukta - and Hukodden beach. A scenic walk from Huk back to town, along the Beach Promenade, to the newly developed area behind the Opera House! Beers in Los Tacos there, surrounded by fantastic architecture!

Real patriotism is always a good thing for the country, and people living in it. Racisms or xenophobia has nothing to do with patriotism. Patriotism is simply the deep attachment to a certain geographical area or areas. It has nothing to do with race, ethnicity, bloodline, etc. Norway's National Day is the best resemblance of this. You can see people from all difference races carrying Norwegian flags while wearing traditional clothing.
