Soooo I’m a first time stalker player and playing with this mod. I rebind the free zoom key from mm3 to alt.. it just zooms in every time I press it but i have no clue how to zoom out.. anyone help? Lmao

I appreciate people who record their playthroughs of this game, not many do especially now, but it has such a unique world and i love hearing the reactions to it. Pro tip though, the screen flickering is an indicator of karma, it influences the ending of which there are two. If you do 'bad' it'll flicker red. Also, I know they can be quite boring but those loading screens can give you some information, might be worth going through at least for your first time. Gonna be watching while at work. Eager to hear your impressions whatever you do!

I loved this mod until I ran into the controller in Agroprom. What killed it for me was that they added Schizophrenia and zombification, for which there was no apparent cure or any way to counter it. If they remove that feature, I will gladly return to the mod.

On the Mod page you linked to there is a section called Addons , in this section theres downloads for English voices and also HD character models to get the old default models back in game also addon for HD inventory item icons . I think it makes it much better when these are added imo.

Been playing this off and on for like the last year and I have to say at first version 1.12 i didn't like the balance enemies especially mutants felt spongy and enemies respawned way to fast but now in version 1.17 i think now most of that is fixed and it feels great. Enemies still reapawn a little too fast in my opinion but I'm also OCD with loot so. That's me hauling everything I can to a nearby storage chest then making multiple trips back to a trader. I do think in it's state now is the definitive way to replay SOC. I think it's also good for younger gamers interested in the franchise but have a hard time with outdated games.
