So.. question. What would I or everyone use that half knot for?
Great question. This type of knot is used to secure a line or rope to a fixed object, like a tree. The first part of the knot is a round turn, which controls the load and provides friction against the support. This allows you to make the line taught. The two half-hitches secure the line and keeps the line tight. In horse riding we would use two half hitches to quickly tie the reins off to a post to stop the horse wandering. In sailing half hitches work well fastening sheets to belaying pins. Two half hitches reversed side by side will effectively form a fast lockdown under tension. The key benefit of the round turn and two half hitches knot is that it can be tied and undone when loaded up. It is also unlikely to slip down a post and the knot rarely if ever jams. It is a very easy and useful knot that is well worth acquiring

Just collect your dryer lint. Get some parafin and soak the lint. Let dry and cut into small chunks. Easy, clean, light weight, loghts in rain or snow and burns a long time like a candle.

I've done 5 months+ of solitary confinement several times. This challenge is kid stuff by comparison, TRY being stuck in an 8x12 ft cell that long, if you think you have a tough mind! You'll find out really quick if you do or not. It's the lack of food that's the problem. I think that they faked this. Surely nobody is THAT weak.
