I am a weekend angler and tournament fisherman. I used to fish club tournaments, and now I am just fishing local open tournaments. Here on my channel, I would like to share some of my time on the water with hopefully videos of catching fish. Hope you enjoy the channel, and if you would like to see something, drop me a comment, and please like👍 and subscribe.
Life is its own journey, from catching fish... to a hard fought battle.
Today I wanted to give a little bit of what has been going on in my life. I am not doing this video for any kind of sympathy or pity. I just figured I would share a little bit of a bump in my road. I hope you find the video helpful. I would like to thank you for watching and please like and subscribe.

Today it's early February and my friend Lonnie and I head out for a day on the water. Water temp is in the mid 30's. We play in the deeper water for a while before we find some fish in less water than we thought we would find them. We managed to find a couple. Hope you enjoy the video. Thanks for watching.

Get better soon, but I thought you said it was a short video.
Thank you. I was trying to make it short. Lol
Sending lots of love and prayers for you Scott!
Thank you very much appreciated. Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment.
just happened across this video. we found out my dad had prostate cancer about two years ago and when the tests came back that it hadnt spread was one of the biggest reliefs ive ever felt. it allways feels good hearing this from other people and we wish you all the luck and many more days of slaying fish.
I know exactly what you mean. It was a huge relief for me to hear. I hope your dad is doing well. Thank you for your comment and thanks for watching.
I am so glad that they have taken care of ya!
Thank you and thanks for watching.
Get well scott. Hopefully see you on the water soon.
Thanks Nick. I hope to get out here this weekend.
Good to see you made another vid buddy. Keep up the nice work.
Thanks for watching.
Sorry to hear that buddy, hope they get it all taken care of.
Thank you. My Dr's say they have gotten. Now just to monitor it. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching.
Tanner told me a few months ago, been praying for ya. All in God’s hands!
Thanks Z. Much appreciative. I can thank my friends and family for all the support that I have gotten.
What happened?
I had a bee land on the inside of my shorts pant leg and sting me. I do have an allergy to bee stings. Thanks for your comment, and thanks for watching.
I love it with a passion
I can agree.
I don’t know where you are but i fish in the jr bass master trail and pbc and I’m fishing the worldwide high school tournament next week so I’m big into it keep making the videos
I think that is awesome. Fishing is nit always the easiest thing to do. Stick with it, and good luck at the derby. Thanks for your comment, and thanks for watching.
It looked like the start of a new dance, lol.
I like that. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching.
Drugs are good this month.. 😂
Och😮😮
Allergic to bee stings. Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment.
I love my FG knot assist tool!
I can agree. I think it is very helpful. Thanks for the comment, and thanks for watching.
Nice smallie
Thank you and thanks for watching
That would make my trip to the water worth it even if it was my only catch, lol.
Getting fish stink on the hand is goal number one. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching.
Haha, true
Hey Scott What’s Top End With That 200HP?
With 2 guys and full tournament load and 3/4 tank best I have got was 67. That was without chine walking and during the heat of the summer.
I bet it didn’t take long to get to your destination, lol.
These 4 strokes are pretty fast. Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching.
@@steinybassfishing I’ll Race You For Pink Slips? How You Doing Buddy, I Fished Today. Water Was 58, Still Needs To Get To Low 60’s. Caught A Few Small Ones.
Nice Fish Scott , Whats The Water Temp Up Too?
Thank you and thanks for watching.
Sweet setup! Insulating it was a good move 👊🏻
Thanks. Love your videos. You a the rest of the DING crew are AWESOME. Good luck the rest of the year. Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching.
That’s cool man! How much did the wood floor save over concrete?
I will be honest. I never checked on that. When I was looking for the building I already knew what I wanted. I probably could have done the 14x36 but the 32 is what I decided on. Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching.
U didn’t even set the hook and your holding the rod awkward
It was one of those that caught you by surprise. Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching.
Nice set up.
Thank you very much. Also Thank you for watching and thanks for your comment.
we have pretty much the same shed buddy
Thanks. It works great for my boat and equipment. Thanks for the comment and thanks For watching.
This guys a pro? No way he doesn’t even look comfortable holding a spinning rod.
What type was it?
It was a little over a 3 and a half lbs smallie. Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment
He’s sitting there still like bow or hood ornament, lol.
He needs action when fishing. He like the fishys. Thank for the comment.
I did something similar after knee replacement surgery last February. Crawling around under the boat to strap down a soft cover got to be tough. I bought a 12’x 32’ storage garage for my Tracker Pro 16 this summer. While I don’t have power to the building, it’s been fun building a workbench, shelving, and listening to St. Louis Cardinals games on the radio. The only power source comes from an exterior plug that I can connect to an extension cord. My needs are pretty simple.
I like my little man cave. I was just wanting to keep it out of the sun and try and keep it looking new. My last boat was keep outside and if the sun wouldn't have hurt the side of it, it would have been looking good. It was a 97 Procraft. Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching.
Very nice! What brand building did you buy?
Thank you. I don't know the brand. A business named Somerset Structure built the garage for me. Thanks for watching and thanks for your comment
Sweet… I like the life jacket rack. I just have a rope taught across the garage door hangers that I throw mine over. Not something most think about. But I deal with wet jackets constantly. Nice set up. I also received a similar sign for Christmas. Mine is a walleye. Hehe…here’s to an arm breaking rod bending 2024.
Thank you glad you enjoyed it. I think my wife got the rack on Amazon. Thanks for watching.
My PB smallie is out of that lake. Nice video.
Thank you. I am actually from PA and was my first time ever there. He was in the service and is now living out there. He has said their are some big fish in there but we didn't get any that day. I will be back tho. Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching.
Good on ya!!!! Clean & neat!!!! That says plenty in itself!!!
Thank you. And thanks for watching.
Where did you get all those banners from ?
The Nitro banner, the Nitro lighted sign and the Mercury racing clock came from the dealer I bought my boat from. They went out of business. The Bass Pro Shop banners my wife got those online. Maybe Amazon but don't hold me to that. Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching.
Did you build it or purchase from a shed maker ? Looks good.
Thank you. I had a shed maker make it and had it delivered. Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching.
@@steinybassfishing your boat is a Z21?
No it is a 2019 Z19. My garage is a 14x32. I have a buddy that has a 21ft Triton that wanted to see mine before he bought his building. He bought a 14x36 garage like I have and is plenty big enough for his boat. Just incase you are wonder because you have a 21ft boat.
@steinybassfishing yes I have a Ranger 521C. I appreciate your letting me know. Thanks for sharing. Take care and good fishing.
You're welcome. I would say your boat would fit in the same size garage as I got but it would just cut down on the size of space you would have behind it if you would want to have a work space for tackle and such. That is if you didn't collapse the tongue like I do in the winter month. I still have space behind my motor and my work bench in the summer month. I just move it because of running my heater.
Keep going hard man! Can’t wait to see you blow
Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching.
Nice
Thanks and thanks or watching.
Looks good, you can’t be lazy and organized, lol.
I have to keep it organized so I have a small chance to find what I am looking for. Thank for watching.
I will know when you're catching fish when you have nitro with you
He does like his fishing doesn't he. He will let you know when I am hooked up. Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching.
Jesus that hook set is crazy😂😂😂
I was taught to cross there eyes. That's a slack line for sure. Thanks for your comment and thanks for watch.
@@steinybassfishing you were taught wrong lol. Guess if it works it works but definitely goofy looking and unnecessary
LOL. It might have been a bit much, but I still got him. If nothing else it made good video LOL. Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching.
I guess instead of the words taught I should have stated told to cross there eyes.
Cool hope that you had good luck and caught lots of fish
I did have a good day. Thanks for watching.
Seeing the green trees and listening to the birds in the background gives me spring fever already, lol.
100% I am done with the snow already. Bring on spring. Thanks for the comment.
Nitro is a natural on the nitro.
He loves his fishing.
Thanks
You're welcome. Glad you enjoyed the video and hope it helps you. Thanks for watching.
🎉
Thanks for watching.
Wow
Made it hard to hold on to. Kinda makes you wonder how he can eat. Thanks for watching and thanks for your comment.
I wonder if that effects his eating habits
We were wondering if he has been able to eat at all. Thanks for watching and thank for your comment.
Hay quá bạn ơi
Thank you. I don't know how I was able to land the fish without being 100% hooked. Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching.
Was it hooked or tangled on the string?
I don't know if I had him hooked. He jumped out of the water and never spit the hook. After boating him as you can see in the video the hook just fell out and was hooked. Thank for watching and thanks for the comment.
Nitro is making sure you’re not bringing more pets home.
Lol. He likes seeing the fishy. 😀
