Hi sam!! Im so glad i found these videos of yours just in time!! My family and I are also heading to kenya and tanzania for an African safari trip this weekend and staying at some of the lodges coincidentally haha but I was wondering if you had a tips or advice in terms of packing what to wear and what to bring? Did you pack different types of bug sprays? How was the reception outside of the hotel/camps you stayed at?
@@gracey9345 you definitely need mosquito spray! Also wear light colored loose top and pants - there are these tsetse flies that bite! The bites swelled up my leg and it's really itchy. Which lodge will you be staying at? I can think of some tips for the lodges (: So excited for you and your trip! You're gonna have so much fun!!!

Gorgeous videos! I am going soon, and can't wait! BUT question, the kittens in the restaurant etc, do they jump up on to you/come to your legs? I am so allergic, and sort of worried about how I am going to handle this. If they are just playing in the distance it is no problem..

Other travel YT creators are a bit too eager to sell, usually their Instagram-best selves, or they are caffeine-amped, must-do-list driven. I like the mellow mood you create in your videos. It has the feel of authenticity. Of finding respite and rehabilitation in travel.
