Even her book Memories says that Elaine was born in 1948 so she is doing this at 60, as she was on the 40th anniversary concert tour. Then she continued into her 60's by performing in Follies in the U.S. and singing with Idina Menzel at her concert in London. Amazing breath control in Elaine's solo at Hackneys Empire, at 65! I love the symbolism here of passing on the musical talent.

Elaine sings Memory, the best, on her 40 year celebration on stage performance. She really belts out the volume and range. Wow! what a voice in that performance. She looks her best of all time, with her hair short, also! Absolutely marvelous!

Yup. Incidentally, Russel is playing Javert in Les Mis the movie come December. Let's see how he does his Philip Quast impression. :)
